You however look at it as a crusade, a war, an emotional battle against the Evil Empire.

You come off as an unmedicated bipolar / manic-depressive.

Dude, lighten up, it's just a job ... assuming you're making enough money to support yourself, which is still in doubt.

Get married, settle down, get a job, play for fun and most of all quit being so fucking uptight and angry against the world: you clearly ack the discipline / mental fortitude and will almost certainly fail and jump off a bridge if you keep riding your personal crazy train.

    So it is written.

Hey ZenKing. I'm one of the "retards" on Ryemo's discord. Sorry I made fun of you so much over there.

    1. Losing 5500 in 3 hours betting 2x200 is about a 1.5% probability using the trip ruin widget on CVCX. (If you play perfectly despite being mega-tilted about the "rigged" holiday weekend.)

    2. If you want to prove to us that the holiday weekends are actually rigged, show us weekend logs with total results in the bottom 0.01% and pass a 1000-hand test on casino verite. If you can do both of those things I'll pay you $1000
Or you could just skip all these rigged holiday weekends if you really believe they're rigged.

    3. You definitely have some kind of mood problem. If you don't like big pharma, there are some natural supplements that can sometimes help with mood: fish oil, vitamin D, creatine, St. John's Wort, Zembrin

    4. Don't shit on button pushers. EV is EV. A lot of slot plays are not obvious.

    5. Until you're richer than Bill Benter, you don't get to call yourself the Best To Ever Do It. Unless by "It" you mean a very specific form of AP that involves only solo counting shoes on the strip and measuring results in max bets instead of dollars. Even at that, there might be some old timers who've won more than you. Tommy Hyland's been making a living counting for many decades.

    6. You don't need to be the Best To Ever Do It to prove your father wrong about calling you a failure or whatever. You're not a failure. Most wannabe APs crash and burn and go back to their day jobs. You're living the dream compared to a lot of people.

Nice post and welcome McDuck. Not sure if you intend to sick around or not, but welcome.

A couple thoughts if I may. In response to ZK's "I am the greatest" rants, I always say the best card counter was probably some dude from the 80, that no one has ever even heard of. Just did his thing, made his monet and that was it. Best now, probably similar, some dude, that doesn't post anywhere, proabably not a Vegas exclusive player because there are so many better games elsewhere, so he probably just travels around playing keeping a low profile.

Also, I know of a number of players like myself that started with a really small BR (barely 5 figures or under) and had to spend their first year or two building that up before they could even get started. Zenking showed up in Vegas with a BR better than 50k. That is an advantage many of us didn't have. So he sort of was able to skip the minor league and jump right to the major leages. I don't fault him for that, but on the otherhand, don't tell me you are the best until you have survived that low limit, BR building process that knocks many players out. No short cuts.

On an unrelated note: I stopped at 3 stores on the strip towards the end of my day today. Won 2 sessions, Lost one, but the losing session was bigger than the wins, so that part of my day didn't net much in winnings or EV. the problem wasn't casinos cheating during a holiday weekend (that is in his mind). The problem is crowded conditions and very slow moving games because of crowded conditions (and side bets). The very reason, I don't stop at the strip more often. Better opportunities elsewhere.

Don't know if it hit 100 degrees today but was close. Rest of the week is supposed to be 100+ with a couple 105's mid week. It is too hot to go through the hassle of playing the strip, parking, walking, just to find a game that is crowded and moves slow and hard to make much money.

Did you seriously just try and make it sound like I was given 50k out of thin air to play? Did you not think I grinded lower stakes to build that up along with working two jobs? What else is new. People need to make assumptions about me to fit their narrative to even have a chance at arguing with me. Good luck with your fairy tale upper 5 figures playing off strip. Be anyone you want to be online but when you go to sleep each night you only have your fraud ass to look at.

It appears that the SportsBook is rigged in the players favor on Memorial Day.
    Don't Bet Parlays.

My brother is doing fine. I know that is not what you want to hear so you will make up your own narrative.

I don't feel it is my place to share too much details of his experiences, so I don't. If there is something extrordinary that happens that I feel other players may benefit from sharing, I will do so, if I can do so without giving up too much detail, but that hasn't really occured. He is just grinding along fairly steady.

About the only concern I have about him, is he has not really experienced a year, or even extended losing period of many months. So I want to be around to lend support when that does occur and it will at some point. It is part of this game. You don't know how yourself or anyone handles that until it occurs. As we can see from "other threads" some player just never seem to learn how to hand this, and I want to be sure he learns how, because I don't think you can really succeed at card counting until you understand and can handle that part of the game.

I didn't "groom" him for anything. He came to Vegas after graduating college and wanted to learn what I do. I tried to discourage him and sort of put him on hold for almost a whole year and then reluctantly taught him what I could. I don't know if it is going to be a lifelong passion or career for him. At this point I think he just likes the money and the freedom that comes with this sort of self employment lifestyle.

But again, I am sure you will make up your own lies and narrative, because you don't want to hear that their are people that can make money with a little bit of knowledge and effort. That is just not something losing gamblers like you, want to hear or accept and in your case are very bitter about.

Oh yeah when did I have to get a job? I haven't worked a normal job since I started playing blackjack. If you consider working Postmates for 2 months when all the casinos shut down and I couldn't play anywhere, a job, then you're an idiot. I chose not to sit home and burn through bankroll and rather make money and be efficient. Another sign I'm the best ever. Not many counters have that discipline and determination to succeed
Postmates, eh? Yeah, I used the Walmart grocery delivery for a year when I was hiding from the vid. I'm in the high risk group. Tipped the delivery driver 10 bucks. Here's a tip for you grocery shoppers. I did an online comparison and Walmart groceries are average 25% cheaper than the other chain grocery stores.

Glad you found work for a few months to hold you over, ZK. Me? I didn't do jackshit for a year. Layed up on my ass. It put hardly a dent in my bankroll. But then, I've been at it a lot more years than rookies like you. If you work hard and quit bitching over the variance maybe you will get there someday.

Oh, and your comments about "button pushers." In order to be a successful machine pro you have to be able to count higher than 21. That pretty much disqualifies you.

PS: A dirty little secret. I used to bitch about the variance too when I was a rookie like you. But eventually it just became a routine part of doing business. Your bitching won't do any good. Variance is always going to be there so get used to it.

"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

    Still Upset... Very Upset!
    Now it is payback time.
ZenKing and Constanza have many similarities.

ZK, your interest in law is commendable.

You might want to consider becoming a personal injury plaintiff's trial attorney, in which event you can continue tilting against windmills but in that case the enemy would be real and at hand: the defending insurance companies.

You can make a lot more of money at that game than counting cards today if you're up to the game.

    Otherwise ... well, whatever.
