I have spoken with people that have met ZK personally, and to a person, they all say he is not like that in person. That he is quiet and polite and funny. And while I respect that, how many times after someone goes off the deep end, do we hear family freinds and people that know him say I never would have guessed. That isn't who he was.

I have thought about getting more involved with Zenking on several different occasions. It was even asked of me by a prominent Las Vegas AP (who does not post here). And I have even thought about it in the last week, with these new posts and threads. And each time I think about it, I decide I can't. So happens right now, I am trying to rebound from a poor year, some of it due to covid circumstances, some of it just bad variance. So I am trying to play a lot and build significant EV and hope for decent variance and a decent rebound type year. So I don't have time to take off 6 months and teach someone about variance and swings that they should know 6 years in.

But even more importantly, the guy scares the hell out of me. from his posts, I don't think he is stable and I don't know what he is capable of and don't want to find out. Blackjack AP's, probably all AP's vent on occasion, during those really nasty swings. Sometimes it is just good to talk or write about it with other AP's who know and have experienced those swings. I did so as recently as last year with an extrodinary bad run at South Point. But these runs of zenking is describing aren't even extrodinarily bad, they are pretty normal, to be expected for that level of play. But it is the threat sometimes veiled, sometimes completely open, of doing something crazy that is most disturbing. I can't and won't be a part or anywhere near that.

I will close with a final (said that before ) bit of advice to ZK. First, I am not out to embarrass you. As I said earlier, years into this, it is obvious to me and almost everyone else that you are just not cut out for this. My advice remains, stop playing, take what money you have made and find something else to do for a living, something that doesn't make you crazy.

But I know you aren't going to follow that advice. In part because unlike most people who are trying to prove something to themselves, you are trying to prove something to all those that you perceive having doubted you, starting with your parents. So You aren't going to walk away as you should.

That being the case, you have got to find away to understand and accept the normal variance of blackjack card counting. At times you lose and some of those times you lose BIG. Period. You do everything right and you lose BIG! That is precisely why a large bankroll is needed. Until you understand and can accept that, you are doomed.

Nothing I would like better than you to prove me wrong. Settle down, learn about the variance that is normal and stop all the "everyone out to get me" bullshit.

And by the way, the negative variance involved with card counting isn't all bad. First it is the exact reason, card counting is still possible today. Without negative variance and swings, you would have card counters just winning, small but steady. Everyone and his mother would be a card counter and casinos wouldn't be able to offer the (beatable) games they do. Second thing is you can use that negative variance to your advantage. No one wants or tries to lose, but when you do, it is a chance to "book" a loss, which plays to longevity. Anyone who can't figure out what that means, that is a discussion for another day.

Zenking isn't BANNED from WOV, he's on an Extended Suspension. Wizard said that if Zenking asks to be let back, he will be let back. Zenking left WOV behind for good ever since he was Suspended from WOV, so of course he never asked to be let back. You think that you are the best because you do some Wonging during non-crowded conditions where you get more hands per hour by playing heads up while also switching pits and tables. Is this new territory or something? Sorry, trying to succeed in today's games everything that you mentioned is required, you are not unique by any means. Also, as you already know playing in the style or manner that you mention briefly is yes good for EV. How in the hell can you not figure out that the way that you play creates plenty of short-term volatility that is well apparent you cannot handle on a professional level. Seriously, I have been posting about aggresively jumping out of negative counts, since the day I moved here. I mean that is what you do in Vegas. The strength of Vegas is many playable games, so a fresh table with a zero count is far better than playing through negative counts. And if you can jump directly to a positive count....ever better!

A player should take advantage of the opportunities available to him and in vegas that is a lot of games in close proximity. I applaud Zenking for doing that, but this idea that "he is manipulating the game like no one else" is pretty lame.

And this last paragraph is why you and BoSox don't actually understand what I'm doing. You guys don't understand what's really behind what I'm doing or what it does to the win rate, which explains your ignorance and failure to average my win rate because you don't know how to actually sim it or why the win rate is what it is so you can't grasp the concept or how to fully take advantage of it. To you guys it's just 'wonging out' but not realizing what else is going on that effects the win rate.

So 150 an hour is 2-3x my EV by doing what I'm doing? What do you think my original hourly is heads up? My backcounting win rate was 45 an hour, but when did I say I only backcount anymore? The more you talk the more you expose yourself about your career. Just stay average and let the best to ever do it get cheated every holiday weekend and still outperform everyone.

Been hearing it's a miracle run and over my EV at the 100 hour mark, 200 hour mark, 300 hour mark, 400 hour mark, and now the 500 hour mark. Guess what? The hourly has been in the same 130-170 range since the 200 hour mark. That's exactly why I made the move to a new apartment around the 250 hour mark because I knew I wasn't just running well and my new play style had merits to it. Why did I know this? Because Ive had one losing streak over 200 hours in my whole career and one winning streak over 300 hours and the 300 hour win streak I gave everything back right away but it quickly rebounded to the same hourly I had at the 300 hour mark. In a rounds perspective it's always around the 15-20k round mark where winning and losing subsides.

Cut your losses and try learning from me kids. Maybe you too can make 150 an hour in 'shitty shoe games' playing 2x200 and 2x250
