Contributing to Forum ??

I’m constantly accused of not contributing to this forum, especially from the queer CumBreath. The truth is I donated several different gambling adventures I experienced through-out my life from all over the world. I admit they never had anything to do with AP’ing, but were true real life gambling experiences.

Of course, alleged AP’s were envious that I didn’t need to be an AP and was able to enjoy casinos for the entertainment and five star treatment I received with no concern for the actual cost of this treatment. I owned race horses and shared several inside owner/trainer/jockey real life stories, along with trainers colluding with jockeys making certain a horse didn’t win.

I was attacked for having splash money and called all sorts of names. I stopped sharing these experiences not even scratching the surface.

When? Links? The collusion stories about the horses sound pretty interesting.

Secondly, who the hell is supposed to be envious that you enjoy casinos for the entertainment and five star treatment? If that's your bag, then excellent, have at it. With good fortune, you might recover well-enough to be able to do that again if you enjoy it.

That said, I'm definitely not, "Envious," though I can't speak for anyone else. I can barely muster up the desire to get my ass to casinos when I have an advantage...and if I had the $$$ to get the five-star treatment from casinos, then that just means that a casino is the last place you would ever find me.

That said, you may well have some interesting stories. Let's have one.

That comment is the exact envious point a broken down shoe makes not ever experiencing having enough $$$ for five star treatment in a casino. The wife loved the suites, spas, shows, food, being catered to just by dialing a couple numbers, shopping, free gifts, and everything else that came with 5 star treatment. Was a welcome change for her from raising 2 children 24/7. Casinos were a small part of our entertainment.

Why would I even consider sharing anymore past factual stories here?

I don’t see BH’s posts unless someone quotes them but it appears to be more of the same bitterness from him. He reminds me of the one guy from Patrick’s that Larry and Mr V beat into submission making him a punching bag daily.

I certainly hope he has the common decency to let his wife know about his account on here so she can let us know when he dies. It would suck to have to guess what happened when he suddenly stops posting. The speculation would be too much.

Is he dead or is he like John Patrick, still barely alive but too brain dead to be able to remember how to use a computer?

And I’m sure his kids feel EXACTLY the same way you do JB.

How are you going to complain that you are attacked for posting your experiences and have decided not to because people are, "Envious," but then simultaneously REFUSE to post any stories when a person shows interest?

Anyway, it has nothing to do with, "Envy." If I was envious of anything, which I'm not, it would be that you have so much money in the first place. My ass would be out golfing every single day from my condo at the country club where I would reside. That's what I would do with the sort of money that I assume you are talking about.

That's like someone talking about yachting and me saying, "I wouldn't yacht even if I had enough money to afford a yacht," and you deciding that means I'm envious of yachting.

Anyway, your wife enjoyed all of that stuff, so that's fantastic that you were able to show her that kind of a good time. For my fiancee and myself, the only things she would enjoy are the spa treatments and the restaurants, whereas I would only enjoy the restaurants, so we would do those things outside of a casino environment and just pay cash.

It's not a criticism of any kind. Clearly, you like casinos more than I do. There's nothing wrong with that. Most people who go to casinos (not even counting any addicts) like them more than I do.

So...am I not going to get any of these horse stories?

Finally, I'm specifically interested in the horse tales because I know nothing about that subject. The casino stuff is just math---gambling is math---the only thing that ever really changes from one person to another is how large the numbers are. I don't know what your game of choice is, but I don't know that I would learn anything new about the actual game for those kinds of posts. I know almost nothing about how horse racing works.

It's also not just you; I don't read most trip reports...usually only if someone asks me to have a look.

Not at all. He is free to beleive whatever he likes. What makes him full of anger and bitterness has been his extremely nasty posts towards every AP and anyone that has made any money from the casinos. There is something going on with that. Either he is some how tied to the casino industry, or has a family member that is, or my guess, is despite this great and successful life that he tells us about, he really desired to be an AP and/or make a living from the casinos and didn't have the balls to do it. That is just a guess, but there is something going on with this dude. He despises, not just me but every AP.

Speaking of Patrick, it appears someone named John Patrick bought his old website. Possibly he just let it expire and this pitchman picked it up for next to nothing.

If still alive JP himself would be 89 now according to public records. The only thing left of his gambling “legacy” is a LinkedIn page he hasn’t updated since 2011. And perhaps some old VHS tapes at a yard sale somewhere.

Not at all. He is free to beleive whatever he likes. I know almost nothing about how horse racing works.

As far as owning race horses, if you think AP’ing casinos has -EV you haven’t seen nothing when compared to owning race horses. If you can’t get your horses across the wire first for 60% of the purse you better have really deep, deep, deep, pockets. 2nd, 3rd, or 4th, won’t get it done. That don't apply to huge purse races. But, you need a huge horse to race in those in the first place.

When I was into it each horse training fees were $75.00 per day. When I left it was over $100.00 each per day. Not sure what it is today. It was a money pit for 95% of the owners. This is why the cheating taking place is beyond your imagination to get horses to cross the wire first.

It’s not that bad for real wealthy owners. These are the people that could afford 100K to 300K for a yearling that may never run a race in its life. Of course, the occasional claimer wins the Derby, but you’d have a better chance investing in the lottery. Usually, its these well-bred horses that win the big money races straight up, where owners will put up lots of cash just to enter them into a certain race. But, even big time trainers like B.Baffert the trainer who won the most Derby races I think 8 or 9 just got nailed (again) for cheating.

The experiments taking place with horse racing is worse than what’s taking place at the Wuhan Lab in China.

When humans mix with money it’s always ugly. Jockeys, trainers, vets, track clockers, or a mixture of them are usually all in colluding on certain wins. Not saying that all races are fixed by any means. In fact, fixed is a bad word for it. When the morning clocker prints a fake time for the racing forums I guess that's more like cheating. There are plenty of good horses that could win without help. Usually, they are the favorites or close to it. It’s the big prices that keep the everyday owners around for more abuse. Just because you’re an owner don’t mean your in on all the big wins.

All I could say is there was a lot of money moving around on the backstretch and cleverly at the windows, and books. Even big track officials hide plenty facts simply to protect the mutual.
