Thread: Double Up limits in Video Poker

  1. #41
Try to understand this. Really try.
There was nothing in the original post related to the "double up bug." It was simply information from an article from a paper you claimed to work for Mr Singer.

I didn't raise the issue of its application to the double up bug. I just happened to pick a figure most of us are familiar with... $1.5 million.

If Caesars Palace with it's high limit slot area has a double up limit of $4000 I find it hard to believe Harrah's which lacks as many high limit machines would allow $8000 but don't worry... I'm going to call and find out.

    You wrote Mr Singer:

"The machine menu when opened up gives info on the last few hands as well as lots of statistical information, but it does not identify the denomination played."

Correct. The data does not record individual plays but if the data shows coin in matching overall play at the $1 level but payouts at the $5 level clearly it would send up a red flag.

    Mr Kewlj's point is valid.

    Try to understand. Try.

Why would anybody care if a fired "reporter" with a lifelong serious gambling problem called any casino to verify something from the 2000's? And if you really wanted some knowledge about the subject TODAY you'd be calling or visiting the CASINOS instead of automatically arguing with any answer you get here. Nice reference to Caesar's BTW. How many tens of thousands have their machines lifted out of your wallet again? While you were simultaneously duped time and again into believing they were your "home away from home", and that their casino host was your best buddy concerned with only your best interests??

Instead of displaying what a conflicted life you lead Alan, go find yet another weak woman to prey on until the papers come....which they always do.

And more stupidity for the sake of looking dense and arguing. There is nowhere within the internal menus that identify anything about denominations or denominations played.

Try to understand idiot. Try. And anyone who would defer to anything kew has to say about vp machines is moronic in more than one way.

Nobody cares idiot. No one on these forums beleives you. No one in your family pays any attention to you. MrV doesn't want me to use any kind of age reference, but your time is past. You had a good run trolling the AP and gambling community, but now you are just a sad, lame 'has been'. Give it up!

Marydawg is up almost 350k over 3 months and is buying a 7 figure home in Vegas. He is the new "Rob Singer" gambling forums troll.

    Mr. Mendelbread

Old article but it states that double up machines have a max payout of 10,000 coins for the double up payout.

Mendelbread is just mean. And yes I know I was the first. It is just nasty. He doesn't deserve that.

As for the double up limit....it doesn't matter. No one was doubling up! Not Kane nor Lester. Not Singer in his fantasy claim that he stole. I don'r know why Andrew is pursuing that angle. It is irrelevant.

I don’t think he’s mean, maybe just a bit misguided.

    Mr DGenBen please be careful.

First, the quote from the Casino City Times article: "With the existing 10,000 coin limit...." Are those coins quarters or dimes or dollars? Machines lock up at any 1099 amount so 4Aces on a $5 Bonus game (400 $5 coins) would not get a double up option.

    2. My name is AndrewG. Please stop your antisemitic remarks.

Singer making fun of alan for a "serious gambling problem" is projection, the pot calling the kettle black.

    C'mon, man.

You two were once friends; now you're at it tooth and claw.

    La dolce vita?

Is this how to best spend your golden years?

Have you no more mountains to climb, women to bed, tall tales to spin, and casinos to flense and debone?

You are the person who coined the name "MendelBread."
If anyone is to blame, it is you!
And you didn't just call him MendleBread... You said that Hitler had Alan's Family Recipe to make MendleBread.
You were insinuating that Hitler and the Nazis made Bread out of the dead bodies and or bones of Alan's Family.
So Shut The Fuck Up as you are the Nasty Anti-Semite starting all the hate and name calling.
You started the shit so just lay in your bed and take your medicine.

You also called Alan a Shyster.
    So STFU Faggot!

If it’s a 10,000 coin limit it could be any denomination, of course that would be the machine limit, the casino could set it for less.

    2. Not sure what I said that’s antisemitic, for the record I happen to be a Jew myself although I know some of us are self hating.

One time I played scrabble with my grandmother and tried to use the word jewy on a triple word score but she wouldn’t let me use it and took me to task about that word so I guess there’s that (although I don’t think she was actually offended I think she just didn’t want me getting a triple word score with such high value letters as J W and Y and taking the lead in the game)

No shit I coined the phrase. I think I acknowledged that in my post. I do accept blame for that, but it shouldn't continue. That is and was just overly mean and nasty. I apologized to Alan publicly and he accepted my apology, so we are good. It is always someone like you that brings it up.

And yes, I also called Alan a shyster. On that I have made no apologies. Shyster is defined as someone dishonst and unscrupulousIt is often referenced to politians and lawyers, but it can be anyone dishonest. Someone later suggested there was an Anti-Semitic meaning to that, but I am not aware of any such meaning. I meant dishonest.

And I feel some of my dealings with Alan, he was less that honest. I will mention a couple: The counting two tables discussion, where Alan jumped up in the middle of the night and ran to a strip casino and took intentionally blurry pictures from the wrong seat and angle and declared see, you can't see the cards. Shyster-y.

Example #2, that package thing that redeitz mailed to Alan's office in California. remember that one? First Alan said he hadn't received tha package because he only got to the office one a week. A week later he said he only got to the office once every other week. Then once a month. Then once a quarter. Then he said, he didn't have keys to his own office. And finally...the office was closed for good and he never received the package. Shyster-y.

What made these things and a few others particularly shyster-y was Alan's claim of being a journalist. A journalist is suppossed to be about the truth.

So YOU just STFU breeder boy!

Oh my gosh! I apologize, I didn’t know the back story behind that name, I thought it was just a funny sounding though obviously not highly complimentary name, like you might joke around with a friend or something, but didn’t realize the specific origin of it Hitler’s recipe and all that.

I humbly apologize to Alan for that.

It surprises me Mr Kewlj that being the victim of hate language yourself, that you would use hate language towards someone else.

Absolutely NOT!. I call bullshit! Oxford defines shyster as a person, especially a lawyer, who uses unscrupulous, fraudulent or deceptive methods, same as every other dictionary defines it. And that is how I used and meant it.

Now origins of a word, any word are a completely different matter....and usually very subjective. When I look up origin of shyster, I see "said to be from Scheuster, the name of a lawyer who used dishonest and deceptive practices". BINGO!

I have no problem with you Alan. But if you want to get into it, this whole Alan-Andrew thing reeks of shyster-ism and dishonesty, not to mention some detachment to reality.

I don't post at WoV any longer Andrew. I think you know that.

I have a better question. Why don't you post there? And I think we all know the answer to that.

I post here for one reason only. To keep track of libelous and derogatory comments about someone.

Those comments are not permitted on WOV. It's a waste of my time.

By the way Mr Kewlj, for someone who has labeled this a hate site you've posted a lot of hate messages yourself.

Perhaps you'd like to explain why you perpetuate the hate, being a victim yourself? Do you want to kick sand in others' faces after having sand kicked in yours?

Another Alan lie. What is it with you people being liars?
