Thread: Cashless Casino

  1. #1
I read that Resorts World Casino is going with a cashless system. Not sure what this entails. Not sure if you can still stick cash into a slot machine. Not really an innovation if that is no longer an option. Also doesn't explain how one gets their deposited money back. Is it like an online casino where it takes 5 business days to withdraw. Lol, f that

What I read is it is an option. So not required. Can load it onto your players card or whatever at the desk is one way. Morongo in SoCal does it too.

As long as this millenial gets paid in cash

No problem depositing any amount. To cash out more than 1k, must provide utility bill and do a cartwheel selfie while holding two forms of official ID and social security card I presume.

I remember Scientific Games coming up with something similar. You play with your phone LITERALLY. You use your phone by attaching it to the Slot and your Player's Card information and money is added that way or something like that." I remember saying something like,"This could be a REAL nightmare if you lose your phone or it gets stolen." Somebody replied something like,"I'm not a fan of using my phone to play with a Slot either." :/

Edit. I did this post by memory. I will attach the Scientific Gaming Video I am referring to and my thread on this.

I found the Website I was talking about and here is my copy and paste.

Topic. "What a horrible idea Scientific Games is thinking! O.O"

"What a horrible idea Scientific Games is thinking! O.O. Using your phone to put funds to play a slot machine idea seems good on PAPER, but in reality it is a horrible and stupid idea. With all these criminal hackers and identity thieves out there, this will be a paradise for them and a living nightmare for potential victims." :/

Here is the YouTube video of this. :/

Take comfort in the fact that no one is actually backing up his wishes to have you permanantly banned.

Smart is knowing a Tomato is a fruit.

Wise is knowing a Tomato doesn't belong in a fruit salad.

I am glad to get my full posting rights back! Thank you Dan!

Wonder how they are going to deal with all the drunk and drugged out hobos sitting on machines with $20 EV plays on them trying to sell them for a 50% free roll. Not gonna be long before casinos are going to have to address the problem.
FraudJ's word is worth less than the prop cash in Singer's safe...RIP

Tired of seeing that crap. Even worse I saw an old Asian lady interfering with someone playing and trying to trick them into switching bet levels.

Visited Resorts World last week. Ticket system worked the same as any other for those using cash. Nice looking property. Several new games I quickly figured out.
