She was playing a -EV roulette game which was set correctly, but the payouts were inexplicably multiplying before being awarded. This was not a feature of the game or a misset paytable. It was simply incorrectly paying its wins, similar to an ATM machine giving you $400 when you request $40.

From what I've read, that seems to be the situation here.
I’m sure we don’t have the full story, she ran it up to $11M then lost $8M back before trying to cash out? So the “glitch” wasn’t occurring anymore as she lost the $8M? Or it was still occurring but she didn’t even realize there was a glitch and therefore wasn’t exploiting it correctly during the $8M loss?

It seems clear that we only have a very small part of the story. Would be very interesting to know the full story but who knows if we will ever get that.

Hoe does high denom roulette work online? At the live casino you can bet thousands per spin with no problem. Go to a video roulette machine and any pay $1200 or more gets you locked up for a w2-g.

I don't think she was betting thousands per spin. If she was, why did it take 5 days of play to only win 3 million?

When you sign up they require your name, ss number, and other details(I can't totally remember, but I think one place wanted my dr license number) that are verified via some database, if you are not in their database they will call you and ask for photos of your driver's license and possibly ss card, etc. Different regulated online casinos require different things to get started, which may have something to do with people who have already been in the casino's system vs people who haven't been.

I have no clue if the regulated online roulette machines are classified as machines or table games.

Whatever the case, they have your ss number and they send you a w2g in the mail if it is taxable, no need to sign for it and nothing locks up.
