Bumping the wall out like you said is another thought.
Running that Pex over to the opposite wall would be a challenge.
It's the subfloor under the beams that are the issue.
The plywood has square driven screws countersunk into the 2x4s.
Makes it difficult to rip the ends out under the wall area.
Probably need to buy another tool... maybe a small Dremel to cut it out in small pieces.
I thought I could just cut out the entire subfloor and replace it in one large piece but that appears more difficult than I figured.
So trying to snake the hot and cold pex lines doesn't appear so simple.
    Thanks for the options though.
It seems that I need to get all my measurements in order now before I cut anything else.

I measured it out and your right that it would be about a 48x32 space if I put a 1 foot bench on that wet wall.
More of a shelf than a bench as I wouldn't want people to sit on it.

You would definitely want it to be settable and climbable because that's what people do.

You can cut in any tight space and close to other objects with one of these.

I like the corded ones myself.

Guess I will head to Home Depot again and get a faucet and some mortar to embed my pan in. More pics to come.

They are burning both ends of the candle, and, more ends, at once. And, they win even more by losing.

Trump was absolutely right when he said that that is how the world works. At least with Trump, it was out in the open. Trump just went too far. The big rich take care not to let one of them take over.

Oh, one other thing. Who do you think is the world's leader in solar power? Communist China.

Yes oil companies have diversified into producing solar power but who cares and what would that have to do with me fucking around with solar power ?

There will always be high-voltage power lines. The only thing is when will they all be underground. Like the permanent cables strung across the bottoms of oceans.

Ninety-nine percent of international data is transmitted by wires at the bottom of the ocean called submarine communications cables. In total, they are hundreds of thousands of miles long and can be as deep as Everest Is tall. The cables are installed by special boats called cable-layers.
More interesting are projects such as the Chinese putting the solar stuff in space. Stuff that has been written about for decades. One version used to be to run a cable out to space, let it hang there to gather static electricity formed through friction with the atmosphere.

Holy God fuck me good. I spent the first eighteen years of my life on a farm. Two farms actually. Never the fuck again. Is it psychologically normal for people to pick up, and leave the cities, for isolated, undeveloped places? I think it's a hell of a joke bit of mind fucking.

Which brings me to the gist of my posts here. AP's, more than anyone else, naturally end up thinking this way, that they thus have some real and actual control over their lives. There are much better ways to fuck the world, and, then, just fuck off.

There are, nor have there ever been, any big or other businesses that tried to stop new forms of energy, or anything else. No one ever proved that such was being suppressed, no one ever made a fortune running with some suppressed technology, no one would not consider and fail to develop what technology the other side has, and so on. It just makes zero sense, on any level.

At the other end of the spectrum, anyone with any real world, and local, experience learned just how corrupt everything is on every possible level. Same as the Earth, itself, has been exploited to every degree on every level. Conspiracies pale in comparison. What need of conspiracies with "friends" who desert one at the first sign of properly and fully defending oneself from the "system"?

Really changing the topic there to try and stay relevant. lol. Why have I bothered. Lines going to be in the ground.. <eyeroll> You can't connect the actual relevancy to our discussion.

There are an assortment of reasons I live out here often, but I also travel quite a bit. When I want to stay in the city, I'll go somewhere and rent a place for however long I desire (or just as likely) couch surf. The choice of me living out here has little to do with me being an AP but there might be something to what you say, simply because machine APs seem to be a bit anti-social. Much like autistic engineers/software devs. Regardless, it has little to do with me as I'm not even an AP. If I want to live somewhere, I live there. My vacations are usually quite extended and go on for months. Often in casinos. If I had bought a house before real-estate boom I'd be fine but otherwise it is just a lot of maintenance and I missed out on too much upside. Actually I sorta expected to be subleasing a place for a few months but one gets stuck on these projects improving things and such. In 10 years I'll likely have far more neighbors which is unfortunate. Thursday I'm leaving for a poker game in a city a bit away and from there won't be back home for about 10 days.

He isn't winning on the regular, even if you include getting perks.

what is winning? let's say someone loses 2k in cash, but they get some inflated 4k comp value that goes towards expensive rooms and food. I guess that might be +EV to them, but at the end of the year they have less money than they started with. I guess one can claim they only lost $500 in value, but their 1k room being comped was +EV.

Now, I guess there is a chance he might be bilking whatever establishment he works for where they give him cash for supposed expenses where he charges them the comp value for, yet his play comps that stuff off.

Just my personal opinion, I don't think people should be talked about like a celebrity in this manner.

I don't know -- MDawg has done the best job of "making a prick" out of WoV and The Wizard of anyone I have ever seen. He continues on, relatively unabated, using that forum's rules and regs to embarrass the forum.

He deserves an Emmy for sticking some rather large needles in the WoV credibility balloon by utilizing that forum's own rules, which combine -- in oxymoronic fashion -- both rigor and subjectivity in a recipe that makes no practical sense.

It's going slow but I'm making some progress.
I'm a bit confused on the many options of waterproofing a shower bed and walls.
I'm a bit worried that regarding your whole shower will create a mold sandwich.
I don't like all the new foam methods.
Most likely going the old school 4:1 Sand to Portland route as usual.

Cut the Toilet Flange off at its 2 1/2 inch base but the next flange would of been too high.
So cut the pipe in the middle 4 inches from the second elbow and threw a coupling on the pipe.
Connected another pipe to a new elbow and connected a long drain pipe that will be cut flush with the new tile if I make it that far.
Was going to move the pipe an inch or two closer to the side wall but ended up putting the pipe damn near the exact location it was before.
Guess I'll take a nap and water test these two new drain pipes when I wake up.
If all goes well I'll throw up some support blocks and beams and close these holes up with some OBS.
After that time to bump out and frame a new wall to enclose those vents/pipes.
Get everything plumb, flush and level.
Build a frame with 2x6's for the mortar bed and go from there.
    At least that's the plan.
    Could change at any moment.
Almost cracked and called in a contractor the other day.
    Whatever.

Of course I just wanted to move to Vegas.
Turns out learning a trade is worth it, in the long run and you can make some serious bank with such skills.

    Plumbing isn't easy.
One little mistake could cause massive damage.
If you have any tips, I'm listening.
I'd like to float my shower walls but I fear the weight would be too much.
Shit looks easy on Youtube but The Fear creeps in on you when you start busting up your walls, plumbing and electrical.
I'm pretty sure that I'm going to Fuck this whole thing up and cause major damage costing me 30,000 dollars extra in the long run.
Like I said in the beginning of this.
I can tear it all apart but I'm not sure that I can put it all back together.
    Fascinating.

    I was wrong.
Turns out I moved that Toilet Drain Pipe an inch and a half closer to the walls.
It was 14 inches from the wall and now its 12 and a half.
Should fit but going to be tight.
Probably within a half of an inch of the back wall.
Worse Case Scenario I will have to buy one of those 10 inch toilets instead of the 12 inch standard.

    Don't mind me.
I was playing around seeing how many times I could sniff this Black ABS Cement.
Shit is harsh on the throat lol.
After 3 big sniffs... I gave up.

Worse comes to worse you can insert an offset toilet flange.
