I would not have noticed that had you not mentioned it. I usually only look at the Dying and VCT thread. A lot of repetitive back and forth between Dog and GF admin ( can easily skip 85%) without a doubt they are holding the fort on their end. You would think between Mdog and Mleus there would be enough of a draw on its own, without extra promotion!

The Mdawg / GF administrators is funny stuff. It is the typical Mdawg trying to bully forum administrators. I would love to hear from Dan Druff about any bullying He attempted here.

But I do have to say that this situation aside, I don't think very much of the administration "team" at GF. First, I don't believe there is any "team" at all. It is one guy. It was one guy when many of us participated there several years ago, trying to add to the forum and it is one guy now. He has a list of rules which he doesn't enforce. I guess that is the new thing. And as part of his rules, he says he will not ban anyone for abusing the rules. That is because he can't afford to lose any posters, even bad posters. He is one of those forum guys that is all about the traffic...at any cost.

So, if he won't ban members that break his rules, guess what the punishment is? He slows down your access to the forum. I guess it is like 1990's dial up. That is the punishment for violating his rules and that is just retarted.

By the way, there was a mass exotus, when it was revealed that this guy, the forum owner, in Florida, stalked a female member of the forum, because he had information because he owned the forum. THAT is when most of us said enough....at least to serious participation. I still troll on the forum until recently.

There's a lot of junk over there, but the place gets a hell of a lot of traffic. WAY MORE then Rusty's house and even more then PFA. At least the rules are almost non existent over there, I'll give him credit for that.

I got into it with him over allowing a guy to promote his online cockfighting site complete with live fights to bet on.

He stuck to his guns that it isn’t illegal everywhere and if people ignored it, it would go away.

Like I said earlier, I don’t agree with much of the scam shit he allows but he is consistent. I also agree with KJ it’s most likely 1 guy.

For all Shackleford's shortcomings, and there are many, it is really hard to beleive he did that. He had posted that if he witnessed Mdawg play, he would immediately know what he was doing and if there was anything to it as far as being +EV, which could support the claims of all the winning. So what does he do, he witnesses the guy play and tells us he can't comment on what he saw.

Mike said somthing that people thought eluded to the fact that MD may have some kind of advantage. I have a feeling this had somthing to do with getting comps and pretending the comps are worth the suggested retail price. We know he isn't regularly beating Baccarat as he suggests (winning 99 out of a hundred session wins or whatever the heck he is claiming) and still getting all the perks he claims. If he did actually have something legit he is either a big idiot for talking about it, or he wouldn't be talking about it at all.

See I don't care so much that he is wealthy. It is a bit odd that a really wealthy person is on message board forums telling about purchasing multi-million dollar houses. I have never seen THAT before. The Raider's owner broke ground on his 15 million dollar house the other day. Is he here on the forums talking about it?

I actually would have been very interested to read the "adventures" of a wealthy, higher end player, playing -EV, winning some, losing some, (losing more than winning) who gets comped accordingly with all sorts of high end stuff most of us can only dream about. That would have been a great "adventure" to read and unlike anything I have read.

It is the all the winning, both frequency and amount, playing -EV and the idea that casinos don't care a bit, that I object to.

When someone hit me I only talked to my actual lawyer for a few minutes around settlement time. The rest of the time you deal with flunkies. I never even saw the lawyer.

Max hit the nail on the head or whatever analogy you want to use. The guy in question is at the top of the food chain in his firm. I’m thinking he has many below him, not much different than a Ponzi and gets a share of all settlements. He only gets involved in the huge cases that might go to court. But most litigants are like the Wizard and make the determination it’s cheaper to walk away than go to court.

As for Mr V, I’m assuming he was a typical legitimate lawyer who helped people with everyday legal problems and made a consistent living over many years.

Would love to hear his thoughts on the big injury firms and how they operate. In my area they are advertising everywhere but Morgan & Morgan is the biggest.
