VitalVegas, aka Scott Roeben, has been doing a fairly good job lately bringing Vegas rumors to the table. Sometimes he ends up being wrong and/or getting bad info, but he's increased his accuracy rate, and he has indeed been the first to report a lot of casino and Vegas-related news.
However, I have been unimpressed with his recent tip shaming routine. He's been at it for a little while now, perhaps because his girlfriend has been working recently at casinos in service positions. (I've communicated with her somewhat, and she seems fairly nice.)
He blew up somewhat when he broke the story that some Raiders players were being rude to service employees and being super stingy with tipping, despite their large contracts. He got shout outs on mainstream sports shows, such as Jim Rome, which understandably got him excited.

Unfortunately, this has led to even more tip shaming, like this bad take:

I really, really, really hate entitled slot attendants or dealers who feel they're entitled to 4-figure tips just because someone wins a "jackpot". This is incorrect thinking for so many reasons.
Imagine laying out $200 to someone just processing paperwork, and then they go and bitch at you behind your back to someone like VitalVegas. Brutal. It's likely that Vital found out about this because he's at Circa a lot, as he seems to have some deal to help promote them.
I think I've mentioned it before, but I know a woman who is a (now former) Indian casino dealer, who bitched on Facebook that she "only" got a $500 tip when a guy at her table hit some big jackpot. I couldn't help but respond and tell her how wrong she was, but she just wouldn't "get" it.
