Thread: Favorite Games your Local Casinos no longer have? :(

  1. #1
One of my most frequented Local Casinos removed some of my favorite Slots, Coyote Moon and Lotus Flower. Bummer as I really love those two games.

    What about you guys?

I cried when they took out the 8-5 Bonus Poker Double Super Times Pay at Harrah's Rincon, in 2015.

    That was a fun game.

Aladdin's Fortune seemed to be a Flash in the pan, 15 minutes of Fame type of Game. It didn't look like a game that had real staying power.... It was gone like two months after its debut. A lot of licensed Games don't have real staying power.

The ones that have real staying power are the Asian Themed Games such as Dao Fu De Lee(Those type have been there for at least 5 years) or the low key games from IGT and Aristocrat and High 5:Games that debuted in the 70's/80's/90's/2000's such as Black Widow, American Original, Golden Goddess, Secrets Of Stonehenge, Jackpot Party, Great Wall, Treasures Of Troy, Buffalos , Lotus Flower, Cleopatras, Pharoah's Fortune, , Queen Of The Nile, Bombay, Secrets/Pixies Of The Forest, Wild Wolf, Wolf Run, CATS and Stinkin Rich, Princess Of Paradise, etcThese games are low key games where the Symbols just basically smile at you when you win. For example, Helen(Who looks suspiciously like an animated version of Reese Witherspoon, ) in Treasures Of Troy looks to the side when she is not in a winning line. When she is in a Winning line, she turns to the Player and smiles.

In Stinking Rich, the Human Characters also smile at the Players. The non human symbols sparkle. The old school reels that were around since around 1890(The ones where it is one line and you match up like three cherries or three 7's to win a prize have a lot of staying power too. The gimmicky licensed ones such as Betty White Stories(Was gone after about 5 months) and Aladdin don't have real staying power.

The ones that seem like you are playing a really intense, highly interactive video game or in a movie don't seem to have real staying power either. I would say a game like Raiders Of The Lost Ark Slot doesn't have real staying power. There are some REALLY licensed Games that have real staying power, such as Wheel Of Fortune that stayed in my Local Casinos for like 8 years before being removed.

Games where a Celebrity is Featured such as Ellen, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Blake Shelton, Betty White, Elton John(This one was one of the worst ones. A guy got almost a full screen of Elton John and he was playing Max Bet and he won like $30. Sad.) don't have real staying power. Games where it is based on a Movie or a TV Show (Titanic, Seinfeld, Friends, Avatar, Men In Black, American Idol, The Voice, Star Wars, Star Trek, Game Of Thrones, etc), don't have real staying power.

Megabucks is also a game that has REAL staying power. Shockwave Games with booming noises don't seem to have real staying power either. Gimmicky ones like Burglar Bob and Piggy Banking don't have real staying power either. Games from WMG and Scientific Games don't seem to have real staying power. Games like Aftershock don't have real staying power.

Basically low key games have real staying power and gimmicky/liscensed ones don't have real staying power.

All I can say after reading that last post with a moron’s view of slot history and marketing, it’s no wonder why the poor stay poor in America.

Some executive at the major slot producers should bring it in to use in a focus group. While high rollers certainly have their place, the opinions of someone from the working poor should have value. These people will spend almost every last dollar on a weekly basis on slots regardless of payback if they like the machine.

And to think the amount of taxpayer money wasted trying to help these people, when it’s obvious they will just waste it on vices in the ghettos of Miami.

By the way Aladdins Fortune is still around in many areas and is on many vultures routes to this day. It certainly lasted more than 2 months.

I don't play any of the newer games; I like the old school three reel slots like Double Diamond; I also will play the old five reel Double Diamond.

The flashy new games leave me cold.
    What, Me Worry?
