Have you ever been roughly backroomed in a Casino? :/

I remember People saying that they were roughly backroomed under Suspicion of Cheating at Blackjack. They claimed the Casino Staff roughly dragged them into the Backroom and roughly pushed them around. Some even claimed they were thrown to the ground. Some claim they were punched in the face. These seem like Lawsuits waiting to happen to me.... Even Police generally don't treat Suspects like this in the Interrogation Room.

... Has anyone been roughly backroomed like this? What did you do afterwards?

No. I had one experience that was heading towards a backroom experience, but it was cut short. It was before I moved to Vegas during one of my trips here (maybe the last trip). I was playing the strip, an Evil Empire property and next thing I knew there was a two guys in suits and a couple security guards behind me. I was told I couldn't play and to come with them. I wasn't handcuffed or anything, but they did have hands on me, pushing me as we headed across the casino floor and down a hallway. At this point, I stated that I wanted to call my attorney, Bob Nersesian. At that time I didn't know Mr. Nersesian. But at mention of his name the "suit" leading the parade, stopped turned and glared at me and said "get the hell out of here. I ran out the casino and about a mile down the strip before stopping.

So happens this was not long after Mr. Nersesian had won a major well publicized legal action against this particular casino for illegally backrooming and detaining a card counter. Later, when I did meet Mr Nersesian, I relayed that incident to him and he said he was going to bill me for getting me out of that situation. I haven't received the bill yet.

But in Las Vegas, that culture of backrooming has changed and almost assuredly due to Mr Nersessian. That kind of backroom just doesn't occur often. I have had more than 3 dozen backoffs in my 12 years of living and playing Las Vegas and none have been confrontational. Most have been very friendly. And although it isn't said, backoffs are temporary. You leave as quickly and quietly as you can, stay away from that casino for just a couple months, avoid that particular pit person for a couple months longer and go back to as if it never happened.

And that is why a person playing Vegas regularly, doesn't push this situation. You identify what is and isn't tolerated, play short sessions within those limits and you remain welcome to play. To stand there and argue a nd deny anything (which insults them further) or God forbit threaten to get even (as per the GOAT) only digs a deeper hole.

They hijacked my thread REALLY badly by talking about sexual stuff when I CLEARLY was talking about Casinos. I even called this out of PFA and at least one of the replies was something like,"Some PFA Posters hijacked your thread because they are really Juvenile." On this thread, I worded my thread titlearefully, adding "In A Casino," so it would be clear from the thread topic I mean Casino.
