Usually when casinos use pre shuffled cards they will have an asm as a counter measure to prevent cheating. Yes, free-play is mostly worthless. You need to figure out how much you gamble versus how much freeplay you get and what does it cost to go get the freeplay? How much are you losing to get the freeplay? I doubt it makes sense but you should clearly ask yourself the question and be honest with yourself. I get junk low-end freeplay but it is never worth playing unless I happen to already be there. $15 x 3 per day or something might be worth it if you are enjoying yourself playing .50 a spin slots at a slow rate I suppose.
