So our "story" begins with the main character who we will call Michel, born into a wealthy Arab family from Kuwait. A very wealthy family. But our hero is basically the spoiled fuck up of the family. He manages to get a law degree from <redacted> School of Law, which is basically an online type thing. Approval from The American Bar Association has been pulled from <redacted>, but it is still currently approved by the California State Bar’s Committee of Bar Examiners, meaning graduates are generally not able to take the bar or practice law outside of California.

So Michel is one of those personal injury type attorneys in California, AKA ambulance chasers. He spends his time in Las Vegas gambling away his wealthy family's money. A losing degenerative type high end player, who is comped accordingly (according to his loses), but detached from reality, he has a several year online persona, where he pretends to be a big winning player. The winning fairytale defies both the math and the reality of how Las Vegas works, while the true story of losing is exactly how both work.

So that is our story. No one in particular, just a fun little Las Vegas fairytale about our hero who we will call "Michel".

You know, growing up in Pennsylvania, it always looked to me that getting into law school was a tough thing. Then, when I lived in California for the better part of three years and hung out with people who had some money, I was surprised to learn that if you weren't going to be able to cut it into med school or even get into a great college, the defaults were going to law school or pharmacy school. So the black sheep of well to do families were all in law or pharmacy schools.

I had no idea up to that point, but it was a real, commonly known thing, like a standing joke.

Just out of curiosity, today I began reading the State Bar of California Attorney misconduct complaint form.

It appears that our main character, in what we will call a fictional (for the moment), "fairytale adventure" is in violation of the Attorney Misconduct Rules of the State Bar of California. (link below).

Rule 8.4 attorney misconduct, subsection (c) states, it is Attorney Misconduct "to engage in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud,* deceit, or reckless or intentional misrepresentation".

Section [1] below that clarifies that such a violation of this rule can occur when a lawyer is acting in propria persona or when a lawyer is not practicing law or acting in a professional capacity. (such as posting on an internet forum with repeated lies involving other people).

Now of course our Attorney main character could attempt to deny that the screenname in question is actually him, unless of course there is someone like a forum administrator who has met with him that can link the attorney to the screen name. THAT would make for an interesting scenario. Since I am heading out of town for a few days, it will give me something to study while traveling.

It has been brought to my attention that "doxxing" is occurring in this thead. Here are my findings.

First names by themselves are not doxxing, in my opinion. Unless that person has revealed other identifying info, a first name alone usually cannot be used to find someone.

However, the name of a law school was posted. I agree that enters into doxxing territory, especially given that MDawg never mentioned which law school he went to, and because it was combined with a first name.

Therefore, I have removed the reference to the law school (changing it to <redacted>), and I will ask that going forward, nobody post that law school name here (or any hints as to what it is).

I will also state for the record that I don't belive MDawg is a scammer, and shouldn't be treated like one. Do I believe he was truthful about his casino exploits? Obviously not. He does seem to bet large -- at least at times -- and I believe he does get some impressive comps. However, I believe him to be more of a casino whale than anything else, and not an AP or winning long term gambler. For whatever reason he wants to live a fantasy on these boards that he is a big winner. While I understand legitimate APs being irritated with these claims, it's important to understand that MDawg does not seem to be setting up any kind of monetary scam, nor does he have any history of ripping anyone off. He simply likes to tell tall tales.

If he were an actual scammer, I would be onboard for revealing his info, but I have seen no evidence of that.
