Pechanga Casino is bringing back Bingo as part of its anniversary celebrations. And it might be a sign of the times that several casinos in Las Vegas are starting to offer Bingo as well.

You don't really think about Bingo when you think about the big gambling resorts along the Las Vegas Strip, but there are indeed a lot of people who enjoy Bingo. And in a tough economy when many casino goers want a chance for an activity that will give them a lot of "action time" without taking too much money out of their pockets, Bingo just might be the solution.

Now, let's get back to Pechanga, the giant casino in Temecula, California.

Pechanga just announced that as part of its 10th Anniversary celebration Bingo will be offered in its Grand Ballroom starting June 7 and running throughout the summer. There will be both matinee and evening sessions, Monday through Thursday. And unlike Bingo of years ago, either a paper or electronic hand-held bingo option will be available to each player. Up to 650 players will be able to take part in each Bingo session.

This is the first time since 2003 that Bingo was offered at Pechanga. And frankly, I don't know when the last time Bingo was offered at the Mega Resorts in Vegas, but I just got mailers that some of the big properties on the Strip will offer Bingo events.
