Thread: Is Las Vegas relevant any more?

I googled sisolik a bit. Is this all because he has a Chinese wife/gf? I couldn't find what this dude is referencing to justify badgering/threatening him ...

That incredibly disrespectful loud mouth cocksucking mother fucker who's insulting the governor needs to be "strung up on a lamp post" and have his dick cut off and stuck in his mouth.

    "Fuck that guy" indeed.

Yeah does anyone have any background regarding the China related insults?

Maybe because of the mask and vaccine mandates?

I bet that's the last time he goes in public without security!

Who now has old style Vegas comps, cheap food, room etc? If you're looking for cheap drinks in California or most any Indian joint, good luck, they all charge about $6-$8 per shot gambling or not. No free drinks at most Indian joints. Cheap crappy cigarettes if that's your thing.

Sure, you can go to various places for less and get the same gambling experienc, but people come to Vegas to get the Vegas experience and you can't get that anywhere else. Perhaps close, but no cigar. FYI I think Vegas It's a great place to Vacation/Visit , and AP, but for.me... I't a shitty place to live when compared to many places.
I was charged $60 for 2 drinks at Rio. I forget if they were double titos or not. Haha! Not even the Strip. could have gambled for them but didn't care. Drinks are premium on Strip if you don't happen to be gambling at that exact moment. lol.

Paying for parking in parkuing lots that used to be free !

    Resort fees are bullshit !

    Horrible odds!

    Maybe restaurants shutdown!

Same fucking food court is any of the 2 big chains. At least give a subway option...

I'd love to see El Diablo/MGM take a loss for their greed. The incessant nickle and diming, although apparently I get my resort fee waved with Gold at MGM. A few places I can table game downtown. Last time I was doing some $500-1k betting at a dump casino downtown.. I'm going back there. Will I drink or not? Not sure. I'll have some fun though.

Literally the only thing good are the comped rooms. The food service if very meh. If you are hanging out alone, you're kinda second class if you take up a table at their steakhouses. Maybe I need to do reservations more often. The clientele are very meh.

TBH I have 5x more fun at my home casino. I have to pay for drinks but they're cheaper than if you pay for them in LV. Really though only thing LV has are some old school table games in some places. Home casino is better in every way.

LV just lost it when gambling is available within hours of every major city in this country. Once the conventions started to die off seems like it really hurt.

With their house rules you're pretty much guaranteed a loss 90% of the time unless you're playing black chip or something somewhere that still does 3:2 or single 0.
What kind of drinks were you ordering? Certainly, it can't be a standard type of drink, unless you were buying it from a fancy bar/restaurant or directly outside of a show/club. I think you found yourself in an abnormal situation. I guess it's like any other situation where if you don't shop around you can get f***** on the price.

At most of the bars in town, you can walk up put a $20 in and get a free drink in the same amount of time it takes to pay for one. I'm not sure what to say if you're ordering two drinks, I guess it would be a buy one get one free situation.
I know someplaces have those lights on the back of the machines, but it takes very little play to get that to come on.

I guess if you're someone that doesn't really understand how things work or you don't want to mess around with seeking out the value you might think Vegas is much more expensive compared to other places. I get the feeling that those are the type of people that probably really don't care anyways, they just want to go where they want to go. if you want to bring back the old style Vegas comps and value, you got to bring back the old style dumpy casinos.

It was a very standard type of drink. I do remember showing a bit of shock and the guy quickly said "I can show you a receipt". I was just laughing my ass off - already drunk - already expecting to be fucked by the Rio in some manner. Thinking back, I wonder if I was hustled... but that is usually done by short-changing. At the time I was already drrrunk and hanging with a friend from back home lolz table gaming. Just a bar at the Rio. I found the whole thing absurdly funny. I wish I'd said yes when he offered the receipt.

I agree if you're a local and want to go hang with your buddies there are still plenty of places to do it. However, if you fly into town for a few days you're rarely going to make it to these local places and will be at the major properties and or downtown.

I love getting free drinks if I am drinking in LV, but sometimes when you're with a friend you don't really care to go through the process or there aren't places to sit at the bar. My friend said he'd been warned by the cocktail waitress about the prices. Perhaps Caesars knowing no more WSOP at Rio, decided scorched earth was the way to go. Who cares if Rio name goes to shit?

    Who cares muppet.

I don't want to defend this woman but the guy in the video posted here was clearly trying to make sisolik very uncomfortable and bordering on scared. A bunch of liberals screaming a slogan is very different. There were implied threats of violence with that previous guy.

I'm not sure what to think about confronting people, but once you cross into implications of violence and safety being at risk you better have a really good reason.

Glad we returned this morning and I read this.

While Sisolak is a very weak Governor, any decent person felt a bit uncomfortable watching the guy yell insults and denigrate him with vulgarity. Especially when he's out for a meal with his family.

That said, MrV had the perfect, expected reaction from a liberal who has had NO PROBLEM whenever the multitude of conservatives have been very similarly "attacked" by libtards while out in public: espousing outrage that this could possibly happen to a Democrat.

There was no threat of violence, he clearly backed off when the daughter appeared in the parking lot (something liberals would NEVER do) and it wasn't nearly as hideous as when liberal losers followed conservatives into restaurants and spat on their food in DC.

We all know Maxine Waters is a black POS, V, Accept the fact that monet is right. You loons want to dish out all the political disrespect you can muster, but when the shoe's on the other foot you people urgently seek out the nearest safe space to whine about how "unfair" things seem to be.

As uneasy as this episode was to watch, it was also a FABULOUS teachable moment in What Goes Around Comes Around. I hope everyone in the country gets to view this.

Sisolak's Chinese wife's family has been said to own a company in China that manufactures masks. The belief is that's why Sisolak has had mask mandates in effect for as long as he did--for family profiting.

No V, the reference to "hanging" was basically virtual. It could never happen. No different than Madonna saying she would blow the White House, or Kathy Griffin holding a bloodied head of Trump. Despicable, but not a threat of violence.

You are a grade-A imbecile. Why do you think the guy kept telling him he was brave to be out in public and how if he should be thankful the guy is a law abiding citizen. Those are not implied threats? Of course they are. He's basically telling the guy he'd attack him if he wasn't worried about legal repercussions.

No fucking wonder you think a machine telepaths to you.

Sorry Rob, I am not a leftie nor a democrat, I am an independent who votes Libertarian, but that's not real important.

What is important is that this ass hole Trumpie threatened to kill the governor.

Quote: "We should string you up on a lamp post right now ... hang you" (sic).

Deflect, deny and spin it all you want, but the video is clear proof.

BTW, I'd barely heard of Maxine Waters and was unfamiliar with her stupid comments as posted above: I've no love for BLM, black radicals, and their coddlers and I condemn her comments as vociferously as I object to what the Nevada douchebag was braying.

I can verify the drink prices mentioned at the Rio. I have personally seen people order a double Capt. Morgan and coke and charged $32 per drink at the Shutters Bar. Axel, even if you are playing at the Shutters Bar, with the lights and a Diamond Card, they are currently serving Mr. Boston liquor products. A 1.75 liter of Mr. Boston anything retails for $11.99 and the bartenders are serving it straight from the plastic bottle. The problem is El Diablo (aka CET aka Eldoraldo) doesn't give shit and are ripping off their so called guests. The Total Rewards player of the last 15 years are leaving in droves.

Yea, $64 for 2 sounds more correct but I was already drunk and not caring and have since rounded it to 60. It was absolutely insane. $32 for what was probably a double titos. That's the same thing as a captain morgan. That is such an abusive practice that yea, they'll clearly lose many customers amongst people who like to drink.

Used to get people drunk to make em lose money, now it is a revenue source to replace gambling.

And why go there to drink and have fun anymore when the drinks cost 3x what they should?

Don’t worry, you can pay 2-2.5x the amount for pot that you would in Oregon or Washington if you want too.
