Thread: Aria dealer dies for 10 minutes at hospital, somehow gets revived and survives

  1. #1
A 49-year-old Aria dealer had a heart attack when working on his motorcycle at home, died, and is miraculously back alive again.

Tamas Kamar was still conscious at the ER, but then "everything went black", and his heart completely stopped. It took 10 minutes to revive him. He had a 100% blockage in his heart, which has less than a 10% survival rate.

While some who are dead and later revived suffer brain or other organ damage, Kamar seems coherent and was able to give an interview to FOX 5 in Vegas: https://www.fox5vegas.com/2022/03/10...ies-odds-live/

    - One of the reason I do like living in Clark County (LV, Henderson, NLV, BC ,etc) you have a pretty good EMS and 911 system. Which includes good field paramedics. I am no longer part of this system, but when you see "Class 1" on the side of the Vegas and Clark County fire trucks, its a good thing, in my opinion.

    - The guy got lucky, good for him. Glad he stopped smoking.

    - I know little about Sunrise Hospital, but they seem pretty top notch. Maybe Druff can tell us more about this facility?

Unfortunately, Las Vegas doesn't have any hospitals that are ranked nationally. UMC and Sunrise seem to be the two bigger Trauma hospitals, one on each side of the strip.

I chose Mountainview (north-west area) for both my heart surgeries. They have a good reputation as a cardiac ICU hospital. Not nationally ranked, but good reputation for Nevada and Las Vegas. Also a little bit away from all the trauma type stuff, like gun shots, bad car accidents and drug overdoses.

But it sounds like Mr. Tamar, probably didn't have a choice, as he was rushed to the nearest hospital to his home.

Desertrunner, you vouch for the EMS and paramedics in the Clark County fire department as "good". That is good to know and comforting. But I wonder, with the way Clark County does things, that the paramedics with the fire department show up and then the ambulance transport vehicle which is not part of Clark County shows up and transports the patient to the hospital, is there a "drop off" once the patient is in the hands of the contracted transport company and their medical personnel on the way to the hospital?

I wonder who gets paid by whom to rank hospitals. Good for Johnny Hopkins though, he grew some deep pockets after his days as a high school pothead.

You know kew, as I read your hopes, dreams and comments about EMS, ambulances, hospital transport etc., it reminds me that one thing I don't ever think about or give two shits about--even at my age--is any of that stuff. Whatever happens whenever, happens. If you took better care of yourself on the front end along with not getting involved with that perverted sex, your heart wouldn't be so weak, and your sleazy sugar daddy lover might still be above ground.

Think about it. Then jump up and down again screaming like a spoiled little kid.

You are so desperate for my attention Singer, posting this cap on several forums. Just really pathetic.

Who's going to outlive who? 1- Singer 73 years old full of piss and vinegar and as strong as an ox or 38 year old UNKOOL1 who has a bad heart and bad blood ?.......Tough call, Robbie is a prime candidate to make it to 100, judging by his appearance with Rusty Shackleford last year . Can Kew make it to 65 ?

I don't have a "bad heart", nor bad blood. That is the trolling of a nasty, hateful man. Shame on you for repeating it and posing such a question. Ozzy, you are as shameful as Singer.

I also object to the hijacking of this thread by first Singer and now Ozzy, highjacking a threat to attack me as they always do. In this case a thread started by Dan Druff of a current medical news story.

remember when Singer begged to be allowed back after being banned. The stipulation by Dan Druff was Singer was limited to 1 single thread, so he didn't hijack everything with his agenda. Remember that Druff? This is what happens when YOU don't keep your own word and enforce your own rules. Singer trollville.

    Objection overruled.

Your 3 replies contribute more activity towards the hijacking than both of them put together.

The game is out there, and it's either play or get played.

    Guess which one you do.

Nice try, but I never mentioned the private AMR company in this thread when referring to EMS response in Clark County. If you also read what I posted, AMR has lost a chunk of their response area due to response times. So improvements have been made since then, if the article is accurate.

As for AMR, I cant comment much on them as well, I dont work there.

I havent worked in the CC EMS in a long time, so I am not the one to ask here. But to be honest and realistic here, every ambulance in CC; private of local gov, is a money maker. So more time in the box, the more your bill.

CC and Vegas use the Clawson EMS EMD dispatching program and I hate it. But it does break up the call into 5 levels of priority- A to E, Alpha being the top. I say this because the lower level calls might get a private transport while the higher level calls might get a ride in the first county or city ambulance, I dont know the system that well, but I would trust it if I needed it. I know if I call 911 anywhere in CC, I am getting a decent response from a Class 1 agency like LV and CC, or a strong city like Henserson, NLV or BC.

I dont know enough to really comment on the whole system, but again, if I or Druff were hurt and called 911, I think we would get good quality care on the first responder side. And I assume this guy got good field cardiac care as well when his wife called.

Sorry I cant offer much more.

See what happens when you continuously fabricate lies about others? Then when the heat gets turned up a notch, you whine like a little bitch

Your own big mouth identified that you've had TWO heart surgeries. By YOUR age? That signifies a poor chance of you even making 60...IF you're lucky. Add in your infected blood (how many times have you had Covid??) along with how much your constantly worry about how others on forums may perceive you, and I say 50 tops.

    Good luck!

One of the reasons I left Vegas was because the healthcare situation was absolutely horrendous. I can't speak to the hospitals or EMS because I never used those services while living in Vegas (thankfully). However, the doctors and dentists in the area are pretty damn lousy and patient-hostile. I had one bad experience after another -- between incompetence, combatitve office staffs, over-consolidation of specialists into one practice, etc.

Eventually I started delaying my non-urgent doctor/dental visits until I'd be visiting LA next. That's how bad it was there.

    It's Johns Hopkins... Johns.
Fucking parents were either assholes naming him "Johns" or the guy liked hookers.
Honestly, have you ever met anyone or heard of anyone else named "Johns" throughout history??
    That shit pisses me off.
    Jimmy Dore understands.
He makes a joke about Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and Johns Hopkins in the first minute of the video.
    Ruth's Chris... lol Fuck!!
    Worst Steakhouse Ever!!
I had horrible meal there once and never went back to any of their establishments.
Glad they closed down at that location.
At least Ruth uses the apostrophe.

Sounds like you didn't know where to go. I have one of the best dentists I ever had here.
FraudJ's word is worth less than the prop cash in Singer's safe...RIP
