Before they merged Texas Station and Fiesta, Arizona Charlie's on Boulder were in fierce competition for the local buck. It caused some fantastic promotions for AP's.

I remember one December Fiesta had a promotion where you could cash the points for that month at a value of .6%. I played the 4-play Full Pay Deuce Wild, 100.76%, on the Odyssey machines. All the good games were pretty much taken everyday.

They had 101% Jokers on those Odyssey machines but I knew FPDW strategy cold and didn't want to take the time to learn a new game at the time.

One day the casino manager walked by showing some VIP around the casino. I overheard him tell the guy they were losing money on the Odyssey machines.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ
