I just couldn't help but drop in and say a few words to such a congenial bunch of good buddies. I'm glad to see you're all getting along and spreading good cheer and helpful casino information. This is just what a forum should be.
I see you're giving Rob a hard time again just like you gave him a hard time before about his big win on a $25/coin machine at Wynn. Yes, I went to Wynn and confirmed that the machine was there and the denomination was accurate in the photo with no photo alterations.
I believe Rob hits big winners because he plays big. I would not doubt the latest dealt royal because dealt royals happen. And if you play high denomination games you'll get dealt royals at high denominations.
I've had at least a half dozen dealt royals including one on the $5 progressive at Bellagio.
My ex wife Janet had two dealt royals only one hand apart. But they were at two different bartops at two different restaurants on two different days.
I'm here to say two things: Rob hits big winners.
The other thing I have to say is not good.
I've been spending a lot of time reading forums because I've been with Janet for a couple of months now as she's trying to stay alive with leukemia. It's not going well.
She had lung cancer when we were married about five years ago. She beat it. The leukemia was discovered in January of last year. It's not good. She's in pain. She's weak. Treatments have failed but we're hoping for another shot.
I'm writing to tell you that casino gambling claims and reports and experiences don't matter when someone you love is dying before your eyes. Touching buttons don't matter when touching the hand of someone you love is skin and bones and trembling. The excitement of winning is nothing when you hold someone you love who is shivering from chills and pain.
Take a deep breath guys. Think about what's important.
And Rob congratulations on the win. I believe you and I'll continue to believe you until someone posts a photo proving that's not your royal.
And me personally? I really am retired. I play $15 of free play on occasion or $300 at craps... but right now I'm taking care of Janet.
