Thread: Why does a bus operating at LAX have a Wyoming license plate.

  1. #1
On "Alan's Notebook" http://alanbestbuys.com/id107.html I have a photo about a bus operated by the Los Angeles World Airways (the guys who run our Los Angeles airports) with a license plate from Wyoming.

Why? Does it matter? It might. Are we exporting our tax dollars and airport fees to company in Wyoming? Was there no company in California that could do this deal? Isn't there a law about registering vehicles in California? What about smog rules?

    Somebody, some answers please?

It's now been four days since I contacted the airport authority in Los Angeles, and I was told someone would get back to me with some answers and information. It's now 6:46pm -- and I haven't had anyone contact me yet, and I am certainly not expecting a call tonight.

I hope they know that when you post something on the Internet it doesn't go away... ever.

Update: Late Thursday night I received a statement from LAWA and the article is updated.
