Thread: Employing Stop Wins and Loss Goals

  1. #1
Those of you are familiar with The Addams Family know that Gomez was always trying to lose money in the stock market but was often unsuccessful. I've been studying his strategies closely for months when, finally, inspiration hit like a light bulb in my mouth.

The way to lose at video poker is to employ stop wins and loss goals. Let me explain. Say you are playing one of those 10/7 double bonus progressives (very rare), like monet mentioned at the old Four Queens. Since the machine is net positive, it takes some strategizing to lose. I think the best way to make sure you lose is first of all you must set loss goals. If you have lost a solid amount in your first two hours, quit (or pause). I realize it's a positive game, but by continually quitting after you've lost, you can stave off the math, maybe forever. And hopefully, lose time after time after time.

The other key strategy is to employ stop wins. If you've won x amount in the first several hours, call it a day. Continually playing will just screw with your lifetime pursuit of losses. Stop after winning -- you don't want to get corrupted by all that money. Just accept that it's not your day for losing, take the win, and walk away. Hopefully, the next day you'll be able to lose and be able to dig yourself off the hill of money you won the previous day. It's easier to lose a molehill than a mountain.

Remember. Losing isn't everything. It's the only thing.

No, coach. In Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine during The Addams Family heyday, you could buy toy lightbulbs that lit up in your mouth. You know, like Uncle Fester did with his light bulbs. Sorry if you're too young to have gotten the reference.

Keep working on that bullshitting project. Take your time.

Total bullshit that came with a link that shows this...

"Judge Wherry relied upon casino win/loss statements to impeach the credibility of the taxpayers’ other evidence"

Oh fuck. One judge said something in one case? Fuck, it's universal law then. Nobody can possibly think otherwise!

    You're such an ignorant cunt.

A supplemental way to ensure a loss would be to make nonsensical discards, such as throwing away pat hands.

In the link provided, one judge said something that refutes the claim that "casino win/loss statements are NOT considered evidence of much of anything by either the IRS or U.S. tax courts."

But being retarded, you can't understand what's going on.

Computer Day at the funny farm is over now...go back to bed woo-woo.

Case law is created by quoting one judge's decision and using it in another case.

Congratulations to Redietz who uses fictional TV shows to argue his points.

    Wow.

Next, quoting the Flintstones about dinoburgers.

What is wrong with you Belly? Jdaewoo is exactly right. Talk to any tax attorney or accountant that specializes in gambling tax and law and they will all tell you the same thing....that w/l statements don't hold any weight as far as the IRS and usually carry no weight in court. They all advise players to keep their own detailed records or journal which is much more accepted.

You finding one case by some rouge judge means nothing. Do we even know if that was overturned on appeal?

This is just typical Belly bullshit.

Still. It is a complete outlier and anyone that is even a slightly serious player knows it.

Man, I hope coach has better gotchas than this. I thought biggest bullshitter had something to do with personal history and personal claims to have done this, that or the other. Gambling claims. Claims of personal history details. Things like MDawg winning 50 of 52 sessions at a negative game or Singer with his systems and double up claims. Or me claiming to have won the Heritage Race to the Super Bowl or having the Rams at 300-1 and the Titans at 35-1 to win the SB the year they met in the SB. Or having documented records against the spread, or winning 17 consecutive spread games, or things like that.

This other stuff -- I'll get things wrong all the time. Everybody does. Like I thought Michael Osterholm's pandemic death estimates were high, and they turned out to be slightly low. Or I thought the CDC/FDA/government interface would be more honest under Biden than Trump, and I was wrong. I get things wrong all the time. I have Patrick Reed at 35-1 to win a golf tournament this weekend. I'll get that wrong, in all likelihood. I thought bullshitting was personal aggrandizing and all that. Gilding the personal historic lilly. I didn't know bullshitting was a list of things you get wrong. Hell, I just learned, during the pandemic, that prunes should be refrigerated after you open them. I got that wrong, I'll tell you. I was eating from a package of unrefrigerated prunes for six months!

LOL. I just looked up the urban dictionary definition of bullshitting. "A writing technique in which the user bases an entire piece of writing, often an essay, around a single and often small, irrelevant and/or useless piece of information."

My God, man, that sounds like a definition of coach. He's the very definition of bullshitter! Don't take my word for it. Look it up in the urban dictionary. Congrats, coach, If you send them your pic, they might put it right in there next to the definition.

LOL...I don't write irrelevant and/or useless essays, ditz...that's all you, mr blogsplat.

Just look at your post above...Michael Osterholm, Patrick Reed, and prunes?...total bullshit.

You are the biggest bullshitter, whether you want to understand what that means or not.

Yes that will work quite well (I doubt a new one will come up in a different suit).

Since the long term only matters when you die, carry a razor blade with you at all times and the instant you hit a big jackpot,
slit both your wrists to lock up your profit,

He is a total clown who is not worth interacting with.

He literally thinks words are equivalent because the synonym section exists in online dictionaries.

Going off his dumfukin logic, most words mean the same thing. 6 degrees of separation or whatever.

At least Rob Singer is amusing with his daily spazztarding on here.

Coachbelly isn't worth trying understand with his particular mental dysfunction. He's a total no one outside of being a gambling forum troll. Not funny. Not likeable. No one defends him on any level.

Total fucking resource thief. Not worth the electricity or drive-space required to host his messages.

I'd say air-thief but it is possible he's done something useful in life..... who the fuck knows

    pathetic
It is official. Redietz will never be on Dan Druff's podcast. "too much integrity"

More and more, it appears coach easily achieves his intended results every time he spots what certain bs-prone posters believe are their hidden inconsistencies. The only negative I see here is in how he elicits so many long-winded weird and rambling replies from redietz, as he struggles so valiantly to regain his honor. And then, of course, we get treated to the usual pat on the back of the back from the perpetual entertainment-seeking AQ, who never does seem to get it right.
