I guess in the desert it still holds true that they "sleep with the fishes."
I found a body floating in Lake mead many years ago. I called the authorities and it took them about three and a half hours to show up.
So did you find out the backstory?
I wander through the path of life. Wondering. Wondering what my next signature on VCT should be.

There were tales in Lake Tahoe about the original owner of Harvey's, Harvey Gross, having his goons take cheaters out in the middle of the lake and pitch them in the water. No way you could make it to shore. You'd die of hypothermia first. And no evidence of a crime.

"There's no telling what we'll find in Lake Mead," Goodman told the AP on Monday. "It's not a bad place to dump a body."

This is a statement from former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman on Monday. Seems innocent and logical enough except that Goodman was the lawyer that represented many Las Vegas Mobsters in the 80's and 90's.

Goodman also mentioned in the interview that his former clients were interested in "climate control," meaning that they wanted tide levels high at the lake to keep the bodies hidden.

    Gotta love this town.

You sure the mob lawyer's last name wasn't Mendelson?

I guess this is more serious than I first thought.
Supposedly going to lose another 23 feet in a year.
Since the market is up do I need to be selling?
From my understanding, if Lake Mead turns into a Dead Pool everyone in the Southwest is Fucked.

Homes sales are being cancelled at a record rate. The recession will get you before Lake Mead does.

    Not in my area.
They're selling like hotcakes and they keep banging my door down asking me to sell.
And they go to war pushing up the price.
    It's insane.

Recession is coming. Car repos have exploded. Car repos are a major indicator of what is coming in the next 6 months for the housing market.

    lol Thanks.
I was wondering why the New Mexico Governor was involved.
Also Yahoo News put up a large picture of the Las Vegas Strip and everyone was laughing at them for posting the wrong picture.
    Now I get the joke.
I also didn't understand why that river was the sole source of drinking water for Las Vegas lol.
    Ooopsie.
    Crisis Adverted.
I'm safe in Las Vegas, NEVADA for another 50 years!
