Arlington National Cemetery is really something. I've only been there twice, but it has a deep impact. The two places that just stop me cold are Arlington and the battlefield in Gettysburg where Pickett's Charge took place. Both places are surreal, but they make war real to me, even if that sounds like a contradiction.
