Thread: When Weakness Prevails, Show Them The Meaning of Strength

Most likely why most people called it the Shoe or Horseshoe since this is the original.
I guess if you are old enough you just call it the Apache.
    Damn Drunken Redskins and Injuns!!

It was called Bunyon's Horseshoe. Named after Bunny Bunyon. Jerkie Gaughan used to hang out there.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

    I enjoy plinking.
Haven't been for a long time now.
I probably should sell everything as it only sits around... probably rusting away.
Got to keep everything though incase TSHTF and all.
Well one thing you never do is sell your guns. Those go to the grave. The other thing these clowns don't realize is you never talk about shooting anything.

If you've ever had to defend your actions or been a part of a shooting investigation then that would be evidently clear. But our very own Camp Peary Grandpa Fugazi doesn't even under that.....lol
FraudJ's word is worth less than the prop cash in Singer's safe...RIP

    I miss Jerkie.
    Great Pan Player.

I went crazy once and sold everything I had.
I was ready to burn it all down and either die or rebuild.
Nervous Breakdown perhaps but it all worked out for me in the end.
    I bought more of everything.
    We all die broke.

I think horse players referred to it "The Horseshoe" more often. Thinking back, a friend of mine who's in all of the big horse tournaments referred to it as "The Horseshoe." I think sports players more often called it "Binion's."
You can call it whatever you want.
Call it the Mint for all I care.
I was just saying that for many of us, who basically lived there, in the late 80's on up always called it the Shoe.
But it's like maxpen and the way he rubberbands his money.
    Everyone does things different.
Personally, I miss the elegance of the Baccarat Pit... not the Mini one but that was cool in it's own way too.
Oh and the way the Magum... that's the MGM for people in the know... had their single zero roulette all set up like they do in France.
Of course that was when the witch would fly around and the lion's head would eat your soul.

They redesigned that just for the international travelers who feared for their souls. Unbelievable.

I dropped into Binion's probably three or four times a week during the 90-100 days of football seasons back in the late 80's and 90's.

I was thinking of staying at the Apache for a day or two just for history's sake in July. I see they have dial phones and all that for the retro look. It's better than the old Gold Spike, where you had to pick up your dial phone at check-in.

No not at all. This Kew guy is definitely crazy. It’s obvious Rob does what he does for the LOLz but this guy kewnut is a concern. At first I didn’t think much of it but he’s threatening gun play on people, and Having delusions.

Because you are a proven serial liar--and obviously a bit concerned over being identified as a red-flag--this wasn't unexpected.

I would guess that everything's not alright at home lately. You seem angrier than usual, and even kew hasn't been able to help you lick your wounds you sustain here.

Yeah, well I have changed my mind.
I'm gonna start calling it Browns from now on, in honor of Joe W.

Oh stop dude, you are embarrassing yourself. Is that the best trolling you have in you?

Mickeycrimm, in a drunken stuper, said he was going to show up at Shackleford's front door and shoot him. Zenking said he was going to shoot up the whole Las Vegas strip because they were cheating him. Those are threats. I said I considered finding someone gun in hand. No threat what so ever.

But stop talking and trolling and do it, if you think there is a threat. All you are going to do is jabber on with your silly trolling. Just what we need, another!
Tewlj, you just can't keep from fucking lying. I did not say I would show up at his door. My statement was I would pop caps in his ass. I didn't give a location. Shooting someone in the ass is not a kill shot. You shoot downward when you do it. Then watch them hop around.

Yes, it is fine to think evil thoughts so long as you keep them to yourself, but when you post your evil thoughts you can sometimes run afoul of the law.

One clear example: I suspect the FBI or Secret Service would pay me a visit if I posted that I was thinking about harming the leader of this fair land.

I'm not thinking about doing it, of course, I am just using that as an example.
Tony Bigcharles made a comment in his blog about shooting up a casino and wound up in jail over it. They dropped the charges but he still had to spend a few days in the Clark County Detention Center.

Sad to say, I do not really know who that is, and I don't Google things to make myself look smart, so I'm in the dark. All I know is that's the street you turn onto to get to the back entrance to the SuperBook. Beyond that, I have no idea.

Seems a bit odd from a guy who literally does nothing but look up information and statistics to get an edge over College Football.
And you did look up Binion's Horseshoe on Wikipedia, right??
I guess you never used a Dictionary, Encyclopedia or Encyclopedia Britannica?
Nobody is going to fault you for using google to look up Joe W. Brown and learn something new.
I would think the more information you have the bigger your advantage in life would be?
Many times I have to look up information or words, you guys use, on this site because I have no clue.
I don't feel bad about it because I'm not very smart as I did not go to University.
I ran away to Vegas to become a gambler while in my early teens.
But I had the bug since I was 9 years old.

I'll bet Druff just loves mention of another phony Singer claim on his Twitter feed.

I am just wondering...if Druff comes out and says there was no Singer 1.5 million VP hit and it is just more Singer make-believe and rules that Singer reneged on the wager, what will lady Crimm do?

Will crimm turn on Druff, calling him names like Singer does? I guess I am wondering just where is the line that Crimm stops being a full blown jackass?

Well, this turned out great. Rob's jackpot is getting appropriate publicity. Maybe it helped a little that I emailed GWAE. Any publicity is good publicity.

As Maxwell Smart would say, "Would you believe I hit a 1.5 million jackpot that I tipped 20K and nobody heard about either the win or the tip? No? Would you believe a 1.5 million peso jackpot that I brought back across the border and tipped 20K pesos for? No? How about a coverall bingo card at Palace Station and I tipped myself unlimited pancakes at the Iron Horse cafe?"

P.S. You can tell I'm on my annual get-in-shape/dieting two months of torture when I start writing about pancakes from out of the blue.

No, no, monet. I read all the time. I just don't like to casually act like I knew who the hell he is when I don't. So clue me in -- who is the guy with the street behind the LV Hilton (and mcap can correct me to WestGate)?

P.S. We had Collier's Encyclopedias growing up. My favorite part was they had estimates of every country's armaments in the back of one volume. I knew how many Atlas and Titan missiles we had sitting in silos and Poseidons out in the sea. Always primed for Armageddon, from a young age.

Still no answer kew: Do you practice being stupid, or is it a side effect from one of the diseases you have?

If I'm asking Dan to verify my location in a post I made from outside Caesars, would that not mean that's exactly where I am?? Duh!

And here you are again with the "If Dan says he doesn't believe Singer then that's it....an absolute certainty he didn't hit the big winner". Are you stoopid or something?---Wait! We just determined that you WERE

Having Dan agree with you fools only says "We're jealous of his win, and while we don't want to believe he hit it to the point of infuriating lunacy, no one has or can produce evidence to the contrary".

I expect a statement more along those lines. He came out once before and said for certain I photoshopped a big win, and was proven wrong by Alan. This time my W2G will prove what I said. I'll bide my time until I determine it's the right time.
