Thread: Mdawg claims proven false AGAIN.

    Kewlj

I think these guys are just trying to get a rise out of you.

No one who was a journalist for 30 years or a retired engineer (Engineers have to have deep understanding of math & statistics to do their jobs) could possibly be as ignorant as these guys pretend to come off on here.

Do you really care what Mdawg posts?
    Keep kissing Kewlj's ass.

Couldn’t care less, don’t even read Mdoggies posts.

    Why do you care?

Seems like quite a drop down from interviewing Kings & Queens & Presidents to worrying about what random people on the internet think.

Dgenben... yeah I am retired. No more press passes for me.

By the way. On the 15 freeway I passed a car with Nevada plates that said "press" on them. They are special plates. First time I saw them and didnt know Nevada had them.

Brought back memories of my NYP (New York Press) plates which often were confused with New York Police.

Once, while driving in Ft Lee, New Jersey, I got so disgusted with traffic backed up that I drove on the sidewalk for a block. A NJ cop stopped me and said to me "you New York cops should know better."

    No ticket.

    That’s funny!

Nevada surprises me with how many different types of plates they have. More so I think than any other state.

I had never noticed that until a friend that lives there pointed it out to me. Now every time I am there which is often I can’t help but notice all the different types of plates they have.

It's a great way to generate revenue. Plus a state can offer special plates to groups in exchange for a fee.

I wonder what the deal was for Raiders and Knights plates?

    Update:

I Googled the subject and found that part of the fees go to charities. No sign if the companies pay the state for the publicity.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.rev...s-1954305/amp/

    Additional update:

Non profits only get plates. Hence the non profits set up by the Raiders and the Knights got plates.

You're right--he is a BIG joke. Who else would concoct the life of some forlorn "bj pro" who has no real life and no real reason to be on this earth? He actually pretends to "care" about "poor misguided gamblers" too weak and stupid to make their own decisions, as compensation for his lifelong contribution of NOTHING to this world. He believes his lack of any sort of productivity is being made up for by his bevy of lies!

Yes....the mold has been manufactured, and it will save the world: one part BS, two parts homo, two parts drama queen, one part nosey old lady, one part chaos, and 1000 parts fabrication of life. Result? Someone who's greatest contribution is the two table hoax.

    Aren't we lucky!

One more New York Press license plate story.

These plates really were worth their weight in gold with free parking all over the city.

My first wife had a job in the World Trade Center. Parking was something like $6 a day (1978) or free NYP parking right at the entrance.

I took the bus to CBS. She drove to the WTC.

One day she calls me in a panic:

"I went out for lunch and there's a ticket on the windshield!"

I'm guessing a rude ticket lady decided to ticket the NYP cars just for kicks.

I told my wife she had to go to traffic court, and have the ticket canceled. This was an automatic procedure and from time to time we have all been ticketed in error.

She goes to court and the judge says to her "you're no reporter. I know what goes on. You wives drive your husband's cars all over the city."

    She said nothing.

The judge paused then said "ticket canceled because I have to."

Here is another recent MDawg claim to think about logically.

He is claiming he has been playing in multiple tournaments recently with prizes up to $1,000,000. Assuming he isn’t lying about these, and I’m willing to believe higher end casinos like Cosmo offer these for their best players, think about who gets invited to them.

A Million Dollars in prizes is not a small number. Obviously it’s an investment by the casino to get their best players to visit. And casinos don’t give an opportunity like this out without expecting much more in players losses from the event weekend.

So we are to expect they want to offer more “free” money to a guy who takes them for hundreds of thousands on every trip?

It defies any business or casino logic we all understand. So as always, the truth probably lies in the middle. MDawg is getting invited to these high end tournaments for the exact same reason all the other players are invited to play. He is a profitable player for the casino, it’s as simple as that.

For those that remember Ace of Spades (I think that was his name) at WoV, he talked about these type tournaments. But of course he was honest about his big wins and losses during trips playing BJ. Imagine that, a lawyer being honest about his gambling history. No slight to Mr V intended who has talked about his slot play some as well.

I think the million dollar tournaments is a stretch, even for high end players.

    Even a half-million is much.

I would think that if a casino-- any casino -- had a million dollar tournament it would be advertised in advance.

Your story is completely fabricated, the timeline of the posts doesn't match any of your bullshit.

That's because you're ignorant and don't understand math. I could explain to a third grader how mail works. But you somehow are too stupid to understand it.

Nope, your timeline is wrong coach belly. Nice try though.

Here is the real time line:

The Cosmo sale to MGM was announced in late September, maybe the 26th or 27th. I knew then that I might be able to get a look at Mdogs actual gambling records.

After discussing it with my friend sometime in Mid october, I announced that I would soon have access to this information. THAT is when Mdog panicked and made his one line announcment that he was about even.

I think 2 days after his announcement is when I received the actual numbers via a phone call and posted the numbers.

And several days later when I had a get together with some friends is when I was handed the actual documents.

So the fact is that I announced that I would very shortly have this information and within days Mdog panicked and came clean with that one line post about being close to even. And even that wasn't true. He was significantly in the red, at least with his play at Cosmo.

See Rob this is where you expose your total jealousy. When did I ever say anything about being God's gift to Gambling or even a great AP or a top AP?

    Answer: NEVER.

I have always tried to be humble and have stated that what I do, card counting, and even my supplemental machine play involving mailers, is the lower end, most elementary stuff in terms of advantage play. I have used phrases like 'what I do is the lower step of the AP ladder". That sound familiar to anybody?

I have also repeatedly acknowledged that what I make is the lower end of what most full-time AP's make. Tell me these things aren't true?

Singer, YOU just can't handle that someone you despise SOOOO much has been able to have any success, where you have failed miserably in making a decent living from casinos.

This is exactly right. These tournaments are about getting the biggest losing players to the property so they will lose much, much more than the prize value during their stay. They simply aren't inviting winning players or advantage players. Anyone not understanding this, simply has no clue about the casino business model.

The fact is that this Mdog has omitted the losing from his daily reports. he only posts about the winning session. If you add in that he loses far more than he wins, like all -EV gamblers, then everything else, all the comps, all the freebies, the tournament invites all make sense. The exact casino model in play.

Here's where I'll agree with young jbjb. What does it matter what he posts?

    Give it a rest.

First of all, you have absolutely no idea if he is or isn't selling anything. If he were doing those things, it would be behind closed doors.

Second, let's say a gambler sells the idea (but not for money) to someone that various progression Rube Goldberg systems work, and that someone then goes on to use those Rube Goldberg systems while getting his ass handed to him financially by the casinos. And that goes on for 20 or 30 years. Are you saying that because no money changed hands, and nothing "illegal" was done, there was no harm?

From a selfish perspective, what he posts also detracts from and denigrates those who know what they're doing gambling-wise. So it subtracts from the reputations of those who are actually giving mathematically sound advice. Reputations have their own values, both material and non-material.

That's why what he posts matters.

If I were running a casino and what mattered to me was how much money I made, I'd have a dozen MDawgs posting on all forums, telling tales just like his.

I know how email works but turning emails on 20 cards into $20,000 stretches it.
