Thread: Stern for President

  1. #1
Well, Howard Stern has mentioned that he probably must run for president.

Now, for those who think that I might be horrified by such a thing, the short answer is nope. Back when Stern was supposed to accept the Libertarian Party's nomination to run for governor of New York, my friend John and I had planned to attend the meeting where Stern won the Libertarian nomination. Something came up and we were unable to attend (it was quite an event, evidently), but we were full on board.

Well, I'm now on board with Stern for president. I believe that's the first presidential candidate recommendation I've made on this forum. If Joe Rogan decides to join the ticket, that would be even better.

That would be a perfect ending to clown world......RIP

    Recommending Fartman for president....lol

Stern is so afraid of the 'rona I'm pretty sure he's still hiding in his basement.

Who's your recommendation for Secretary of State? Stuttering John?

Does anyone even listen to that yenta anymore?
FraudJ's word is worth less than the prop cash in Singer's safe...RIP

I haven't watched his show for a few years. Is Stuttering John still doing his thing, whatever that was?

It's hard to get a handle on audience size. I think before he went to Sirius, Stern had about 20 million, which was huge. Now it's probably half that. That's considerably less than it was, but still not shabby. I think Rogan's podcasts get 10-12 million most of the time.

Stern's main schtick will be to ditch the electoral college, from what I understand. He'll keep pounding the idea that the U.S. isn't really a democracy if it's not one man, one vote. I've said that for ages; I always called it a pseudo-democracy. Then I found out last year that the CIA and international organizations consider the U.S. an anocracy, which I had never heard of before. But various generals and CIA members, for practical and predictive purposes, agree with the anocracy definition.

Was a loyal Stern fan until 2004 when he turned on Bush and went all out for Kerry. Since then he has become far left and apologized for many of the bits he did over the years. Like Kimmel, he has gotten a pass from the woke mob because he promotes the far left agenda.

As for the earlier run for NY Governor, you definitely missed a great event RED as his guys took over the convention to the dismay of the few regular Libertarians at the convention. If I remember correctly he dropped out when he was required to disclose his finances. His 2 main campaign issues were a reinstated Death Penalty and no daytime road construction.

He later supported Christie Todd Whitman in Jersey and claimed to be responsible for her winning in an upset. She thanked him by naming a rest stop after him that was known for being a gay sex meeting place.

No way he is running and no chance he would get any traction in 24.

---> Federal Communications Commission fines of The Howard Stern Show.

    https://anagram-solver.net/If%20I%20...m?partial=true

Between 1990 and 2004, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) issued fines totaling $2.5 million to radio licensees for airing material it deemed indecent from The Howard Stern Show, the highest amount of any American radio show. The Supreme Court had provided broadcasting guidelines for indecent material in its 1978 ruling in its landmark decision, in which the court prohibited the "seven dirty words" made famous by comedian George Carlin. The FCC had received complaints about Howard Stern as early as 1981, but its limited power at the time prevented further action taking place.

The FCC broadened its guidelines in 1987 following an investigation over indecencies broadcast on the show. In 1990, Infinity Broadcasting, owner of Stern's flagship station WXRK and some of his syndication affiliates, was issued its first fine. Two penalties issued in 1992 worth $105,000 and $600,000 were the highest the agency had fined any broadcaster over such matters. Further violations led to almost $2 million in fines being issued by the end of 1994. A settlement reached between the FCC and Infinity in 1995 included a $1.715 million payment to dismiss all outstanding indecency cases.

In 2004, the crackdown on broadcasting indecency following the Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show controversy led to two additional fines being issued from past shows. Stern announced his departure from "terrestrial" radio to begin a five-year contract with Sirius Satellite Radio, a subscription-based satellite radio service not subjected to the FCC's broadcast obscenity rules. The Howard Stern Show aired for the last time on AM and FM airwaves on December 16, 2005.

This gets back to my trying to predict my own post-777. I started out with the following.

Garnabby wonders what will be Garnabby's seven hundred seventy-seventh post.
---> There Has Never Been a Day I Haven't Loved You.

    https://anagram-solver.net/garnabby%...t?partial=true

I cleaned up the first attempt, to the following, because it gave a decent answer with the RIP part, too, which, again, is designed to give intimate insights into the specific members. In your case, perhaps, that you're the forum whistleblower for stuff in the wrong sub-forum.

I guess, what the solver was trying to tell me was that my actual, final in this sense, post-777 was to be about the more-seedy stuff, and, the next posts, the more-Godlike stuff to do with moderation, tolerance, and love, as in my avatar. So, still a couple more posts to try to wrap it all up.

Now to more-directly answer your question. Instead of how to eat such, ask how to truly enjoy such, whatever one eats, and, etc. Then one is in the present, in which case all things are weighted equally. In the sense that it may be said what a man was, and, then, will be, but, not what a man is. To remain the latter while the former. Given equal portions of past, present, and future. Thus in sort of a special traveling or soliton "bubble", in which no way is any better than another, without conflict or other friction.

Einstein believed that each of us, simultaneously speaking, at different points alone the timeline, relives every moment of our lives, so that time never really ends. I think that this is the special case, but, that time comes to end in most ways. It's relatively easy to prove that time doesn't repeat in most ways, and, so, that things die in most ways, but, I could never directly proof out also the latter, which just may not be so analytically accessible. It seems that time marches on, for each of us, but in also a continuous manner, with one life in front of the next.

Pay attention to the West Virginia v. EPA ruling today. It's bigger than Roe v. Wade. It will mean unelected piece of shit bureaucrats will no longer be able write laws that Americans must obey. It should be each states concern or Congress's. Fuck the bureaucrats.

So, this is bullshit. He's not running for President. He previously said he was running for office until he found out he would have to disclose his finances. He will never do that. And event though he has a tremendous following, he would lose miserably in a Democratic primary and would help Republicans win if he ran as a 3rd party or Independent candidate. Also, he would have significant difficulty getting on the ballot in every state. But, can you imagine if Bababooey was Press Secretary?

It was a long time ago, but I think revealing finances was the reason he dropped the bid for governor of New York.

I listened to Stern back in the 90's just long enough to know I got better things to do than listen to that jackoff. I haven't heard a word he has said since like 1996. He's an assclown.

Stern was funny when I was younger and not as jaded. His main appeal was having to fight his station managers earlier on but later his constant effort to thumb government and social censors. His interviews were childish but also quite edgy in the questions asked.

At some point he gave all that up and is basically a yenta as someone said. I went from huge fan to having 0 desire to even listen to old clips.

I thought Robin was supposed to have died of cancer. Good for her though.
It is official. Redietz will never be on Dan Druff's podcast. "too much integrity"
