You here ?
I am. I live a sheltered life, but I have never seen a casino report hold percentages on table games that are the same or higher than the machines. So I asked someone who was upper management at a mid-level LV casino for a decade and was told, yeah, that never happens. So what I was wondering is if the carnival type odds adjustments for some table games is a standard procedure for tribal gaming when they open in virgin territories or open with little in the way of geographic competition? I guess those are my observations and questions. Are they picking on rubes and does this kind of odds adjusting on table games stay in place if they get competition?
The video poker payouts are bad -- about as bad as bad strip payouts in general. But the table games payouts are bizarre for some games. They assume nobody does math? They assume (or don't care) if anyone has been to Las Vegas?
They have a Lucky's Cafe, buy the way, similar to the one at the old Hard Rock on Flamingo. Food is excellent (LV Lucky's was one of my fave places), but this one doesn't open until 11 AM at the earliest, so breakfast is a no go.
