Thread: Singer Claims 68% NFL Versus the Spread

  1. #1
Over at Gambling Forums, Singer is claiming to have won 68% of his NFL versus-the-spread plays during two seasons at the LVA forums.

He appears to have picked a number that some naive civilians think may be achievable. That number was probably chosen as edging the winning percentages of the winners at the Super Contest at Westgate and the Circa NFL Contest, both of which have hundreds of entries and people shepherding multiple entries.

The question on my mind -- LOL -- is whether mickey crimm has any reason to disbelieve him. Sorry, mickey, had to get that one in there.

You know, these claims just get worse and worse. This is what's known as scamdicapping.

What I love about Singer (Argentino) is his inability to claim believable things. Like, maybe had he said 59% or 60%, it would have been, "Uh, well, maybe, but let's see the documentation." Instead, he had to claim better than the annual winning percentages of the major NFL contests.

    It's ridiculous.

I assume he wanted a response from me. Well, he got one. Anyone who believes his posts deserves what they get.

Joe Rogan claimed that he had an 84 to 85 percent success rate when he had his beards bet on the UFC for him.
And oddly enough Sam Morril claimed that he can pick 60 to 70 percent winners in basketball.
I believe Joe since he has plenty of insider information.
    I don't believe Sam's claim at all.

Because you're dealing with money lines, and because those first few years of UFC betting there were skewed lines, I halfway believe Rogan. He probably took chalk and was almost always right. The fact that some fighters were featured on "reality" shows distorted some lines a lot. You could bet against the TV guys left and right and get the best of the value.

What made Singer's claim nonsensical was that it was the NFL. He just didn't know enough, and he almost never does, to realize he was claiming to have done something nobody else ever did.

There are some college hoops savants who have done remarkable things. I don't think 68% ATS for two seasons is among them, but some people have done some remarkable stuff. The fact is, if you're winning 68% of your ATS games in hoops, you should be expanding the number of teams you take because how much you make, not your percentage, is the bottom line. There were some Chinese programmers who killed it for about two years maybe five years ago. They hammered mostly hoops totals in Las Vegas on a high volume basis. Some sports books started holding off the times they'd open the lines, so that whoever opened first took the salvos from the programmers. Boyd numbers, when opened, changed so fast they made your head spin.

I forgot to post a link to the reactions to Rob Singer claiming that he won 68% ATS in the NFL picking five games a week for two years on the LVA forums. Here's the link from that same forum -- LOL:

Maybe Rob will make a comeback here to explain why he's held in such high esteem at LVA. They must believe in math or some such thing over there.

Wow I'm actually beating Singer's lies at the moment. Just 1.5 years to go and I'll be the king.

Did I mention I love the Bengals Black and White Uniforms.
    Well, I do.
    Very Penn State esque.

I do 69% easily if I find the right games.
Singer probably going to die next out of a broken heart God willing.
