Disappointing year last season for me, but I've changed some things and will try again.

Sat out the 2-game opening NBA day.

Now time to get going with the NBA season with a large slate of picks.

NY had a late comeback & lost in OT.

Orlando had a late comeback and tied it, but lost.

Indiana had a late comeback but ran out of time.

San Antonio got blown out.

Shitty.

But I did hit NO +130 and both OKC picks (though under almost got fucked by fouling), so I ended up 3-4, down 0.88 units. Glad I could count on the Nets to be terrible.

Not good, but not devastating.

Brutal OT screw job on the Phoenix game, turning an easy win into a tie.

Won San Antonio (though they almost blew a 21 point 4th quarter lead), and lost the other two, to go 1-2-1 for the day.

Lost yesterday -- ended up surprisingly close after a terrible start.

I'm doing what I should have done all along: Fade the Nets. I said this before the season started, and then I barely did it. Same with the Lakers, whom I might also fade later.

Nets are more dysfunctional than ever.

Kyrie has been suspended because of "the Jews".

Simmons is out -- and Durant is basically fuming about him.

To top it all off, the "other" Curry -- Seth -- is resting tonight, so that thins the bench a bit.


Washington -3 vs Brooklyn

I decided I am going to fade the Lakers. The Jazz are playing well, having swept two from Memphis, then just falling short against the Mavs in Dallas.

The Lakers.... are another team I should have been auto-fading. Don't be fooled by their recent wins over Denver and New Orleans. Lebron is coming off an illness where he didn't look right last time out, Anthony Davis' back is hurting, and he may not even play, and don't expect Westbrick to contribute consistently this year, no matter what his role. With Lebron and Davis at 100%, the team has a chance to win against tough opponents, but not with both of them feeling crappy enough to where they skipped the most recent shootaround.

Utah +140 at Lakers

Washington blown out by 42. Oops.

But Utah easily beat the Lakers, who are awful, and I love getting a dog line with them.
