I want to go back to the title of this thread and the word "possible".

I never like the word "possible" even mentioned in any kind of gambling discussions. Strategies for playing and winning should be based on some sort of math that results in a player playing with an advantage, not some "possible" type, long shot, one in a million (or more) odds type thing.

Now Alan didn't mention this 18 y.o. in a row in the context of any kind of strategy. He just claims that is what he saw. Is it possible? I suppose by the purest definition of possible it is. But the odds are astronomical. I think Dan Druff once figured the odds to be, not of a person getting hit by lightning, but a person getting hit by lightning 7 times or something. Mission, coach belly, I guess now Tasha, want to call that "possible". I don't!

And as for Alan: When he made this claim, I don't think he had any idea of just how astronomically long the odds were. My words: Just how impossible it was. Having had that explained to him, by some of the math guys like Druff and Wizard, I would imagine Alan now understands, but he can't bring himself and probably doesn't know how to back track on it.
