I made another neat post here, but, after reading Dan's admonishment, I self-deleted it. Ha.

Something about SlapInFunk ---> Fun AP Links, as the true creator of the forum. (Alan had his kid set up the board?)

So it’s all good now and we need to remember Alan for the “good things”.
This kind of abuse and absolute no respect for people on here is one of the reasons why Alan Mendelson wanted to give up ownership of the forum.

Please at least in this thread, leave that stuff out of it.

He would appreciate if you removed the first line from your reply. He treated everyone he ever met with respect.
Aren't you Jason Mendelson? I wonder why you called him Alan Mendelson in that post and not Dad or my Father.
you are reading into it too much. it is easier for me to say his name than father. thanks.

Why not both, saying something like,"My Dad, Alan Mendelson?

Take comfort in the fact that no one is actually backing up his wishes to have you permanantly banned.

    Alan Mendelson was everybody's Dad.

(I don't mean that in a technical sense.)

So, Jason...you're here, you claim to be a gamblin' man...

Do you favor the two games your old man played, i.e. VP and craps, and if so do you approach play differently than he did?

So sorry Jason, yes there are many people on here who don't know when to draw the line.

Oh, I don't know. Alan was a wild one when he wanted to be. And, it takes a bit to draw the MCaps, and Monets, out of the woodwork, anymore. Ha.

The girl referring to Alan as "my dad" in that craps pic is his daughter.

Alan had two children. Jason (Slapinfunk) is one of them. His daughter never had an account here, to my knowledge.

Alan's daughter has been (and may still be) an accomplished reporter/anchor. I know she did so at a Tucson TV station for several years.

Let's be honest: Alan was an overall good and decent man--and one who had a gambling issue. Not unlike most people here, for certain. And claiming to be an AP, wealthy, or whatever exempts nobody.

Remember, silly and humorous comments about others whom you don't REALLY know, while at times foolish to say, are harmless. These inferences are nothing more than how you WANT it to be....how you can best cope with knowing that particular person does have good and other unknown qualities which will probably make you feel small and somewhat inadequate if you were to really know the person. Pure fear.

If you took away all his nonsense gambling stories etc, and his general dislike for Advantage Play, I would agree.
