Thread: Hot Seat Promotion VS Bingo? :)

  1. #1
Gulfstream Park runs Hot Seat Promotion on Wednesday, and Hialeah Park Casino runs Bingo the same day. Hot Seat is from 2-8 and is when the Staff Member randomly chooses a Player who is carded in and actively playing and they spin a wheel and you can win up to $300 in free play. You can be picked multiple times

A special note. I was at a Hot Seat Promotion and the Staff Member took a lunch break and for some reason, he wasn't replaced during his lunch break, he should have been replaced by a Staff Member while he took his break in all honesty. We waited roughly an hour with no Promotion until he came back. Gulfstream should really replace Staff Members while on break when it comes to Promotions like this.

Bingo for Hialeah Park Casino Bingo runs on Wednesday 6,8, and 10 and you play roughly $500 coin in and you get three papers with four squares each, and you get $100 for first square, $100 for second square, $300 for third square, $1,000 if you win every number in the final square.

What would you prefer? Hot Seat Promotion from Gulfstream or Bingo from Hialeah?

Take comfort in the fact that no one is actually backing up his wishes to have you permanantly banned.

As far as promotions go, I don’t think either is all that great.

If I were to base it strictly on EV alone, I would pick the Bingo promotion. I don’t know the exact EV of it, but it is better than the Hotseat Promo, assuming you normally play at least $500 coin-in (amount to qualify).

With the hotseat promo, let’s say you have 600 people playing slots with their players card. With one seat chosen per hour you are 1:600 to win only $300. The EV of the promo would be .50 Cents per hour, for every hour you are playing. Even if you get it down to 300 people, you are a little better at $1 per hour in EV.

The Bingo does require $500 coin-in vs. no coin-in requirement for Hotseat (I believe).
On the Bingo if you play penny’s to qualify, which I think from what I have read from your post in the past, you do, let’s say your RTP is 88%, your minimum cost to qualify is ($500 x 12% HE = $60) $60. On average you will have to give them $60.

With the Hot seat you can likely sit there and insert your card until it times out, rinse and repeat if that is your cuboid tea. Would seem boring for a return of virtually .50 cents to $1/hr.

You can walk around the casino and find tickets and money left on machines and make a minimum of $5 per hour.

Ultimately, with the EV very small on both promos, I would play which game I enjoyed more. I wouldn’t even take a promo into consideration.

Tasha, we need to get you into Multicarding. I’m getting really tired of you be perpetually broke.

The Hot Seat Promotion is multiple times per hour, more like 10 times per hour. But, I lost Hot Seat Promotion today. Should have went to Hialeah Park Casino Bingo instead today. :/
