Wilt Chamberlain set a record that may never be topped - March 2, 1962 against the Knicks while playing for the Philadelphia Warriors - he had a relatively weak 2nd quarter - he only got 18 that quarter -
that same year he averaged 50 p.p.g.
and he hit 28 of 32 free throws that night - 87.5% - lifetime he only hit on 51% of his frees

    truly incredible

if somebody tried to dunk on him or got him mad for some reason Wilt would say to them:

"if you come into the paint again - I'm gonna knock you down on your ass"________________________(-:/

my fave part of the vid starts at 5:41 where it shows him blocking shots - he really swats them down - you almost feel sorry for the players that got to eat that ball thanks to him

Agreed. My top two start with Chamberlain and Alcindor. I'm not sure you can be more dominant than they were in their prime.
