And for the dumbasses in the audience, kewlJ will not pursue action because it's not in his best interest to pursue action. And his attorney likely knows that and agrees with him, all things considered.

Fools count cards where angels fear to tread.

In completely unrelated news, I'm having breakfast at South Point tomorrow. Anyone who wants to ask about EV or get a book, check out times in the sports betting section.
Redietz, if you see a big (fat) latino security dude (I don't even know his name), that thinks he is a tough guy, tell him I said Hi.

Why would I play at South Point specifically? is that your question? South point has always been in my rotation since the time I moved to Vegas. Even before I started driving in Vegas. As a matter of fact, just after I bought a car and started driving, I won a truck at South Point.

As far as blackjack, they are a little (a lot) sweaty. I don't care. I play El Cortez fairly frequently for God sakes. Neither of these properties contributes to the databases. They subscribe but don't contribute. That means anything that does happen, only effects that property. That is a big plus for longevity.

I will definitely be returning to South Point before the year is up, just out of principal , but probably not playing blackjack for a good while, so I can tell you what I like about South Point blackjack related without much consequence.

6 deck games on the main floor. Penetration isn't great in the main pit, usually 67-70%, but in the second pit at the $25 min, the pen is 75% which is normal or average. And on weekdays the $25 games aren't crowded. South point is a low roller joint. The $10 games are crowded.

Also, and this will excite some of the haters, but when the second and third pits are open, south point is one of the better tracking a second table locations. I am able to do this less and less frequently these days though.

And of course, South Point is one of the few remaining reasonably priced buffets.

Unfortunately, I was no-mailed there long ago, so it has only been about blackjack for a number of years. And in regards to no-mail, I always say that no-mail is one of the first counter-measures taken. Kind of a waring shot. I guess I ignored that warning.

No, kewlJ, I'm asking because I strongly suggested to you maybe a year ago in a PM that playing there was not a percentage move, regardless of "EV."

Nobody listens to their elders these days (sighs and rolls his eyes).

The scenario kew identified ALONG WITH THAT INCRIMINATING VIDEO would easily attract a settlement in the mid 6-figures to low 7. Kew's simply trying to save face while hoping it all just goes away. Too late, idiot. And let's not forget that kew NEVER FILED A POLICE REPORT. Anyone who wants to believe he did should contact Metro. All the info is available, and kew's name is nowhere to be found in the past 30 days.

Fess up kew--you got caught big-time in your own lie.

    And I like it!
Ron the only question with you, and even some that find humor in your antics raise it, is whether you really believe your alternative reality shit or not. Either way, you are blinded by hate and bitterness.

This really isn't a draw for me anymore. As a matter of fact several times in the last 6 months, when in the southern section of Vegas, I think I will hit up South Point and eat at the buffet. And then I end up at the Cafe, which I like even better and is also very reasonably priced.

I'm going to ask here about EV.

How did you determine the ROI for your service without something that isn''t the equivalent of what we call EV ?
It is official. Redietz will never be on Dan Druff's podcast. "too much integrity"

Kew is in such a tangled mess of lies that he's not even paying attention to the lies he's already told.

One of his best: "I'm not gonna talk about this anymore" Sounds eerily similar to "I'm not gonna talk about this for a 2nd day".

It all sounds so easy to do kew....that is, until you feel the stinging effect of the truths people post. At that point you no longer can help yourself, as the need to "set the lying record straight" takes over in emergency style.....

MrV, I don't believe casinos in Nevada can really legally trespass a player. Not for card counting. There is debate on this of course.

There was a ruling here, that the player won after returning after a trespass in which the ruling was that even after being trespassed the player has to be given the opportunity to leave again, upon returning before he can be held or arrested. Essentially upon returning if the player is asked to leave again and refuses, he is trespassing. But he has to be given the opportunity to leave again. This essentially makes the whole trespassing thing baloney. And I believe most casinos know this.

Again, this was specifically for Nevada, I have no idea about other jurisdictions. And it was specific to card counting. If someone does something illegal and is trespassed, it very well might be a very different situation.

Now the problem with this is the police. If the casino calls the police and says we trespassed this guy and he returned, the police will probably arrest the person. The person would probably need to re-fight that case in court each time.

I am not advocating players return after being trespassed. But I will just on principal at some point.

I can see why this is confusing to you Ron. My first post this morning was indeed that I didn't want to continue on with this discussion for a second day. I really saw no reason to. But some of the non-troll guys, like AinQ, Smurgerburger, MrV had some interest and questions, so I answered. I always try to answer people that ask legitimate questions. Oh, wait....did I just call AinQ a non-troll? We'll see how long that lasts.

Now after returning home this afternoon and reading some opinions from some people I respect and value, I am sort of reconsidering. At that point I said I wouldn't talk about this incident anymore.

That doesn't mean I won't talk about other things involving South Point, like why I play blackjack there or voice my opinion on general trespass backoff issues unrelated to this specific incident. If that is what you were hoping for Ron, you are out of luck.

Ron, is it dinner time in S.D.? Do they have to strain your food for you like a baby?

    This is utterly insane.

You were illegally detained. Kidnapped off the casino floor. Without any provocation whatsoever, so claimed, you were slammed into a desk with enough force to break a bone. Plus you have it all on video. Then you claim you're not going to sue. This makes no sense.

You act like this is a fender bender where you were rear ended by someone with the state minimum insurance and no assets. So, it's not worth going to the quack doctor in the ambulance chasing attorney's pocket 8 times for a $25k settlement. C'mon man... Really?

Also, Bob N is looking like a complete incompetent here, not being able to land this case. It's a slam dunk payday. Unless it's BS and we're not getting all the facts. I don't know why a person would even speak publicly about this. It just makes you look dumb.

Did Grosjean get a documented broken bone? If no, then using his case as precedent then adding the pain and suffering of a broken bone on top of that is a mere starting point for negotiations of a settlement. If that's not worth a little inconvenience to a blackjack player that has to travel all around the valley hopping in and out of games for $100k/ year then I don't know what is. As a matter of fact, why would you even need to know or have a relationship with an attorney to begin with? The potential for this incident would be the main reason to have that relationship to begin with.

If you signed a trespass order with your real name on it. Then you are subject to arrest if you go back on that property. Maybe you can pay Bob to defend you against that....lol

Honestly that sounds bullshitty. You got your arm fractured and what you describe as an illegal detention. If this is all true, that's quite enough to want to sue for your own pocketbook. You don't need to do this one "for the people".
I hope this doesn't offend you, but I think this is one of the big differences between you and I. Actually, many people and I. I don't look at every time I am wronged as an opportunity to sue someone and make money off of. THAT isn't how I want to make money. It really isn't. I am sure most won't believe this but if I was to win money in a lawsuit, any lawsuit, I am sure I would donate a significant amount away to causes and charities I support.

So I have a fractured bone in my arm. How much is that worth? 100k? more?

I am just playing, but honestly, I sort of feel like AP's and especially card counter type table game AP's, understand that this kind of thing was always a possibility. I am glad we are getting away from this type of thing occurring all but rarely now, But there are risks and things associated with this kind of a career choice. We know that going in. At least I hope everyone does.
I have been involved in very few lawsuits in my life. There were times I could have sued for things, and didn't.

However, this wouldn't be one of those times I'd let it go. Not only do you have a slam dunk case for what looks like a decent payout, but you were legitimately wronged here. It makes zero sense to back off this one, if it occurred as you said.

I'll give you a counter-example, of a time I chose not to sue. I was at the Rio broadcasting the final table of the 2009 $10k Limit Holdem WSOP event. It was fun. Took like 10 hours, but I really enjoyed it, even though I wasn't being paid. During one of the bathroom breaks, a cleaning employee aggressively opened the door, and it happened to slam right into my hand, as I was reaching to open it. A fluke accident. It made one of the deepest cuts I've ever had, and probably took an hour to stop bleeding. Whole thing looked really really ugly. I could have sued, or at least put a claim through their insurance. I didn't. It was a freak accident. Yeah, the guy opened the door a little too fast, but so what? I didn't want the poor dude to lose his job over it.

My demands were to give me enough band-aids to cover it up and some ointment. They gave it to me, and I went on broadcasting.

That's where it made sense to be a good person and not sue. Not here.

I will tell you this much Dan Druff. Based on a couple people that contacted me privstely, we have some well known players that lurk or at least occasionally read this forum. Maybe you already knew that.

Whether of not KJ's story is true, SP security does have a few instances of overreacting.

    To summarize ..

Kewlj had always been a risk-taker. He loved the thrill of gambling, and he was good at it. He had been playing blackjack in Las Vegas for years, and he had become something of a legend among the other players. He was known for his quick mind, his sharp instincts, and his ability to count cards.

But one night, things went wrong for Kewlj. He was playing at a high-stakes blackjack table in one of the city's most prestigious casinos when the pit boss backed him off. They accused him of cheating, even though he knew he was just using his skill to beat the odds.

Kewlj was escorted to a back room for questioning, where a security guard threw him into a chair, causing his arm to snap. He was in excruciating pain, but he refused to scream or cry out. He knew that if he made a scene, it would only attract more attention to himself, and he didn't want that.

After the incident, Kewlj was released and told to leave the casino immediately. He went to the hospital, where doctors put a cast on his arm and gave him painkillers to ease the agony. He could have sued the casino for what they did to him, but he refused to do so. He didn't want any publicity or attention drawn to himself.

Despite the setback, Kewlj continued to gamble in other casinos around town. He was more careful about counting cards, but he still managed to win big on occasion. He loved to talk about his exploits on gambling forums, but few believed him. They thought he was just making up stories to impress them.

Kewlj didn't mind, though. He knew the truth, and that was all that mattered. He continued to take risks, to live on the edge, to push the boundaries of what was possible. He knew that one day, his luck would run out, but he didn't care. He was living life on his terms, and that was all that mattered to him.

Is THAT what happened AinQ? Wow, Your "version" is so much better than what really occurred and what I said. Maybe I should go with your version.

Seriously dude, I count about 6 things you said that were no where close to my accounts of the incident. But it is not in my interest to correct them right now. So I won't.

Only this one thing that isn't specific to this incident. I don't play high limits anywhere, least of all the casino in question. Unless you consider green to black or in some instances spreading some black high limit. It's not. But great story. I appreciate the high roller status.

I apologize, Kewl, for not getting your story right. I understand that it's important for me to accurately represent your experiences and perspectives, and I regret any misunderstandings that may have arisen.

Regarding the troll game, it seems that Rob is dominating you. It can be frustrating to feel like you're constantly losing or unable to keep up with someone else's skills or strategies. However, it's important to remember that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, and that just because someone is currently better than you at something doesn't mean that you can't improve or find ways to succeed in other areas.

If you're interested in improving your performance in the troll game, it may be helpful to observe and learn from Rob's techniques, practice and hone your own skills, and perhaps even seek out advice or feedback from other experienced players. Remember to stay positive and persistent, and don't be discouraged by setbacks or losses - they can be valuable opportunities to learn and grow.

Let me just point out some of the 'hater hypocrisy' here. I have lived and played in Vegas for 14 years now. With longevity as my top priority I have worked very hard creating a style of play and identifying and playing limits that are well tolerated. That won't rock the boat, with big wins and long periods of play that someone has to answer for. I am very proud of what I have accomplished. And I have shared some of my experiences, both good and bad and some specifics of what I do, even way more than I ever should have.

So the haters come along (most who are blackjack dumb) and say, no one can do that. You can't do that without it catching up to you and having heat issue, backoff, even barings (which I have had along the way).

So I have a bad issue. Probably my fault for misreading and mis-calculating tolerance level. Probably became too comfortable and complacent and it caught up with me. I share that incident, because I have always tried to share everything....the good, the bad and the ugly.

And now the haters don't want to believe THAT. I mean seriously!!!!!

And you can see the divide plain as day. The hater's hating while the real players and AP's well aware this is very possible. (especially considering the location).

Now THAT is really the story of this forum. Hater Hypocrisy.
