During the ride home tonight I heard an interesting radio commercial. It was a dramatization of a man and woman discussing their "relationship" and she said to him, whose name was "Cal," that it was time for a change. Well, the change was she was going to start watching KTLA at 10PM and then the listener immediately could assume that the switch was from K-CAL (as Channel 9 promotes itself) to the KTLA 10PM news. Poor "Cal" was getting dumped by his girl for KTLA at 10. Nicely scripted. Now I'm curious to see if the same woman will come up with a line to get away from the "Fox" as in KTTV Fox 11 at 10pm?
