I think it was reported that May it was only 4.4% but that's just for one month. So they are calling that a drop in inflation. One month isn't indicative of anything.

The 15% over two years is an overall statistic. Grocery prices have ran much higher, are actually up 25% since Biden took office. When you look at housing, transportation, insurance, groceries, I honestly don't see how the working class pays for everything. Victor Davis Hanson pointed something out the other day. Anyone else would have gone to jail no questions. But because Agnew was VP, a deal was made where he resigned, pleaded guilty, I don't know what other stipulations, but did not serve jail time.

I suspect the same type of deal will be offered Trump, or maybe already has been. He is not sitting president like Agnew was sitting VP, but the terms would be he agrees not to run for president ever again, plead guilty, maybe or maybe not serve 6 months house arrest at his country club. Then the presidential declassification law should be amended to make it illegal for the president to declassify "extremely top secret information". But right now it doesn't. How lawmakers would go about quantifying this subjective term (so that they can add an amendment against it) is anyone's guess.
