I'm surprised that I only stumbled upon it today as I rewatched (A Good Year 2006) once again.
Odd roundabout way to find this Japanese Film but that's the way it works these days on the interwebs.
The Film feels more like a 70s, 80s or 90s Hong Kong Comedy.
They probably borrowed from the Hong Kong Format.
Some of the storyline doesn't flow or make perfect sense towards the plot but that's how these Asian Films are at times.
Anyways, I would retitle this movie: SLURPING NOODLES if I had the power.
