Please link to where I said I would "swing over to "other AP opportunities" to the tune of 100k a year since their blackjack days are numbered." I said no such thing. I said I would be incorporating more non-BJ advantage play into play going forward. This is something I have always for the most part resisted. I don't know at this point if my blackjack days are over or will be reduced going forward or what, but if my blackjack days are infact over, I have no idea what I might be able to make doing only other forms of AP. But I won't be sharing any of that either way.

Now the comment about a winning player being tolerated because a spouse or partner, or other relative or friend loses even more than the winning player wins is interesting and something I have mentioned before. So that is one possibility. But I don't think it is really the case. I believe he is only telling of winning days and session and leaving out all the losing days and sessions.

What money do you think I have? First every freaking cent I have has come from advantage play with the exception of the recent settlement money. And that sort of indirectly did as well. I have not worked for anyone and earned a dollar other than casino play since I was 20. I did receive 10 or 11 weeks of unemployment compensation during covid, so that wasn't directly from casino winnings, but still indirectly from casino play career.

And yes, I am proud of that. I set out to make a living playing blackjack (didn't even know about all the other AP stuff) and I have done that. I am not rich. As a matter of fact I don't have a lot of liquid funds. Most of my wealth right now is my half of our home and my bankroll. This settlement money is the first time I have had some money sitting in savings that wasn't part of my bankroll. I should really do something to put that towards starting to grow some retirement money, because I have done nothing towards that.

I just don't get what you people think I have or where it came from. My partner was on disability and had no money. I am just a guy who has made a very modest living to this point. Now, I want to get back to this post that Mdawg so proudly posted 3 times today, but now seems to want to deflect from it.

The "Pope of Las Vegas" as he calls himself, now and has for the last several weeks floated this idea that he has a photographic memory and not only counts cards but can remember every card played.

This isn't impossible, by highly unlikely. Anyone who has such a skill or talent, would have easily won unlimited money from the casinos by now. And still, even doing nothing illegal, nor any kind of provable advantage technique, and the casinos having no idea how he was doing it.....the Player still would not be able to play within a short time.

But still the thing about this latest "explanation" is how the explanations have changed through the years. Both Myself and Axelwolf as well as others asked what he was doing to have such an advantage from day 1 and the answers have changed and been all over the place throughout that time. At one time, Axelwolf mentioned loss rebates and Mdawg immediately jumped on that saying "yes I get loss rebates".

Well guess what? A loss rebate works when you lose and report losses!! That is when the advantage kicks in. When a player is winning 52 out of 54 sessions, or 90% of sessions it isn't from a loss rebate.

Other times he has just given the voodoo-ish "betting into hot streaks".

There are players at the table who just jam the bet up for inexplicable reasons (one of the ones I've heard a lot is "the cut was smooooth.") And then there are others who jam it up there for valid mathematical reasons. I see both types every day. And I've seen the counters sometimes lose money and the Smooth Cut players sometimes empty the tray.

If you are truly proficient at it, a number of profitable situations naturally arise. But, not the straight-forward ones. Say, by watching out for the two or three bigger bettors usually on hand in a big casino with a high-limit section. Often, those guys play in the regular sections for more company. Guys that have already lost tens, or hundreds, of thousands. Guys who already tend to make a lot of big bets on the spur of the moment.
