I know nothing about slot machines, what makes them +EV, which is the only way I would play one, which is why I have been reading some of the slot machine discussions by mickeycrimm and others with some interest.

I think I played a slot machine one time in my life, for $20 when some friends were in town as we left the buffet. It was one of those ridiculously big slot machines, that almost seems like a novelty type thing. Each of us put $20 in for 4 spins. No one won a cent.

So when we discovered the casino that had given us the sign up bonus free play had no video poker, I just told my partner to pick a slot machine. he picked a progressive with a large jackpot. When it hit, the machine locked up, so I knew it was a handpay, but looking at the big board, I was still not convinced it was the big jackpot. Not until an army of attendents showed up.

A lowlife thing to do is to try to drag the Late Alan Mendelson into this. But since you have, Alan did NOT "politely question" my tracking of two tables. He pulled one of the most dishonest stunts I had seen at the time (since surpassed many times), when he posted an intentionally blurry picture, supposed to represent what a player would see at the next table. Yes I took offense at Alan's less than honest behavior. But if you read the next several pages, I didn't call him any names. I did eventually call him a troll. Is there anyone that can look at that picture and honestly say that is not the act of someone trolling? Someone intentionally instigating?

Again, I recommend you read a few pages. It is interesting reading. Alan soon revealed that his big issue was really about something totally unrelated. His 18 y.o. in a row claim. People refused to believe that so he was going to refuse to believe my tracking of a second table. And that was fine. He could believe in the Easter Bunny if he like, but posting that picture was completely dishonest and an act of trolling.
