Thread: How much heat do APs get in Vegas, especially at MGM properties?

  1. #1
I am fortunate enough to live in an area with many casinos nearby. But I also go to Vegas a couple times a year and would consider APing there too once I am no longer a noob. But I have other things I like to do in casinos in Vegas, like poker, food and shows, and I sometimes go there with family. I do NOT want to get banned from strip casinos, especially MGM properties. If the risk is significant, I'd rather not AP on the strip and save it for home/other travels.

How much heat do APs get in Vegas and is it worth APing on the strip? How about off-strip? How about in Reno?

I've heard Reno is bad. I've heard Cosmo is bad but things change. Perhaps Aria had issues with slot hustlers at one point but I have a friend who walks the MGM properties without issues.

The Asian campers went away early this year so there must have been something done.

I'm just telling you things I've heard though. I've never been a pro-slot hustler and more or less gave up on it.
It is official. Redietz will never be on Dan Druff's podcast. "too much integrity"

Speaking ONLY of blackjack APing, The MGM properties in Vegas are not uniform in this regard. Different properties have different levels of playability (in terms of heat). Similar to the Station Casino chain.
