Mickey, contacting Law Enforcement won't do any good if Redietz is posting with a VPN where his IP Address/Location aren't visible. Reporting his death threat to you to Dan should be sufficient to get him banned.

It's a lot harder than that. The first thing that the cops will (probably) tell you is that email evidence ain't good evidence because, for one thing, you can't conclusively prove who sent it, on Red's end of things.

You have a valid point. Red could just claim his unstable Family Member or unstable Friend was staying with him and used his computer to send the death threat to Mickey. I had let a Family Member post under my account for another Website and she posted some gushy nonsense about how hot Shia Lebouef was or something like that, LMAO! Also, on another Website , two Roommates used the same Computer. The Admin had verified that these were two different People using the same computer (He had chatted with them over Skype or something like that). One day, Patrick had written disgusting posts and the Admin banned both Patrick and Francis despite Francine not being the one who wrote those disgusting posts. Posters were like,"Why did you ban Francine with Patrick? She's innocent!" The Admin acknowledged that Francine didn't deserve to be banned with Patrick, but he had to ban her too because they shared an IP Address. So maybe something similar happened with Redietz and the death threats where a roommate might have sent the death threat and not Redietz?

Haven't the others gone "ballistic", fairly mad, at some point? I concluded that BBB left the Wizard because of his idiotic "don't let the door hit you on the way out" such nutty taking offense at the drop of a feather. She confronted him about it, at least a couple of times, but he was paranoid by nature (more so than schizophrenic).

Did you thus support anyone who didn't?

Family or friends using the computer wouldn't even be a defense. My brother used to post some on my account, more so at GF than here, until he got tired of playing with Singer. Sometimes I would read something that he wrote and not necessarily agree with it, but I would still be and take responsibility for anything. If you allow someone to use your account you are still responsible.

That said, I am both shocked and disappointed to read Mickeycrimm's original post to this thread. I didn't comment right away because I wanted to wait until Dan Druff weighed in. If it is true, redietz has to be banned. Moses was. there has to be a line. Free speech does NOT mean free speech. We are seeing cases where people are being sued and losing for things said online.

I still think mickey has been pushing and pushing and pushing redietz for most of this year now, ever since redietz made that comment about mickey and social security. But regardless, you can't make physical threats.

Red, if what mickey says is true, you should publicly apologize. I guess mickey accepting it or not would be mickey's call. But first things first. Maybe tell Mickey you were drunk and see if he buys that. I kind of remember mickey threatening a forum owner and later apologizing and claiming a little extra firewater.

That defense didn't work out too well for the Raiders guy.

Getting banned by design. It's a tough crowd here where nonsense and BS is called out with tough questions and even some investigation(you know this firsthand). Some people would rather get purposely banned than be beaten into submission and run away, just to save face. I suggest not banning anyone who might want to be, and only banning those who don't want to be.

If people posted about only their real experiences, say, their very own encounters with police, and the like, it would be a great forum. But, that is where people like you totally fuck things up for yourselves. What makes it so apparent that you mostly bullshit your way through life. Just keep it shut if you don't know, haven't already done it. The law, too, is hardly ever so straightforward.

At this point though it probably doesn't matter since almost everyone on here has posted enough information to get doxxed anyway.

As far as I know, the most common trait of schizophrenics is the urge to avoid others. The reason that they rarely show up even at the online forums. Nor are they overly opinionated. Most schizophrenics will lie about it, so, why would they put themselves out there, to begin? Moreover, with today's medications, most of them thus blend in nicely with the remainder of us. Hold decent jobs, get married, and all the rest of it. Many completely recover quickly, if treated soon enough, after the first psychotic break.
Yes, under various medications, say, for anxiety, people become highly suggestible, candidates for hypnosis, but it's just not likely what's going on in KJ's case.

Ok fair enough, however it looks like it's a general rule, since it doesn't seem to apply to all schizophrenics - for example, Kuntsone, who posts here periodically.

As far as I know, the courts here don't make the information about cases, say, judge's endorsements, available forever. Say, only seven years for small claims court, up to $35,000.

One of my best friends, the one to, and all the way through university, was schizophrenic. Very analytical, studious, with a good work ethic. Only one time, years later, I guess when he stopped taking the medications, did it show. Rumors swirled, long before, back in high school, but, it was something that we never talked about.

I was responsible for someone on the mental floor of a hospital, for a couple of months, years back. Even the other doctors on the other floors were afraid to get into what went on up there, next to top floor. (One guy admitted as much to me.) For some reason, they put the people with eating problems on top. Anyway, half of the floor was open access, with the patients free to wander, but not leave. The other half, with the violent cases, was totally inaccessible to the public. You could walk (exercise for that purpose) on a walkway all around the floor, but, no way to access the other area. Quite an experience, in many ways. People have zero idea what goes on in a hospital there, either. Easy as hell to get yourself admitted, but, you might have to get a lawyer involved to get yourself out, which they won't let the patients use the payphone, which is in front of the nurses' station. They have their "own" rules, truly scary people. Demented. Very few had any outside visitors. One of them had personal nurses, for which they paid out of pocket.
