So, I started a thread about how much was a first legitimate Handpay and mentioned that someone had said that their first Handpay was about 1202 and Casino Staff asked them if they wanted a publicity picture and they laughed them off! LMAO! Come on, a publicity picture for a couple of dollars over the jackpot threshold!
That thread brought some interesting replies about casino publicity pictures, and I found out at least one Casino puts publicity pictures on a big billboard OUTSIDE the casino,(where anyone driving by or walking by can see)WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? And at least one Casino put the publicity pictures in a TV COMMERCIAL! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?
Do they TELL Jackpot Winners that their publicity pictures will be on a Casino billboard OUTSIDE of the Casino or their publicity pictures will be on a TV COMMERCIAL BEFORE the Jackpot Winners agree to publicity pictures? Because if I win a Jackpot and I agree to a publicity picture, I would assume that the publicity picture is for the INSIDE of the Casino only, not on a billboard OUTSIDE the casino or on a TV COMMERCIAL. I'd be pissed if I saw my jackpot publicity picture on a FUCKING TV COMMERCIAL or a casino billboard OUTSIDE of the Casino without my permission.
Hialeah Park Casino had a publicity picture promotion where Players take a publicity picture and upload it to Social Media for $10 in free play. I wasn't comfortable with the "Upload to Social Media part," and Players Club Staff admitted a LOT of Players weren't comfortable with the "Upload to Social Media," part. At least Hialeah warned beforehand that the publicity picture has to be uploaded to Social Media in order to get the $10 in free play. It would have been beyond fucked up if the Players did a publicity picture for the INSIDE of the Casino ONLY and they found their publicity picture on a billboard OUTSIDE of the Casino or on a FUCKING TV COMMERCIAL without their acknowledgement, permission, or consent.
