    1. The name regnis is not a knock or spoof against singer. In fact, i have always had an affinity for singer other than when he speaks badly of dead spouses, etc. we had a baseball annoncer named harry caray. One of his things which i adopted was asking what some guy’s name was spelled backwards. I do that all the time and especially for passwords. Dandruff didnt work. Mendelson was too tough. Garnabby could probably come up with something for him or crimm. So regnis was easy. That it had a definition in urban dictionary made it even better.

    2. Mr V mentioned casino and/or attorney connections. Ding
ding ding. Give that man a cigar, or maybe just some good weed.

Over and out. Family matters outweigh this crap.
Regnis, best of luck with your family matters.

Why am I not surprised Mdawg PMed regnis, trying to work and manipulate him, just as he does everyone, even been caught doing so by Dan Druff.

I am not surprised somebody was able to verify and find information on this incident. Too many people in Vegas involved for someone not to have at some point, despite my best efforts to make it that no one could/would. All I ask of regnis, is that he not reveal my name or any identifying information.

As far as a news story. What the fuck did you google smurgerburger looking for this news story? You don't know my name. You don't know the casinos involved. What did you google that you couldn't find anything?... card counter backroomed? Good luck with that.

THIS is the exact story or information that I didn't want getting out. THAT is what all of this was about. To not draw attention to that story. So now people (smurgersburger) want me to direct to that story? Give me a break.

As a card counter AP, I have battled with the casino industry since I was basically driven from Atlantic City. 15 years now in Vegas. Everything I do, my style of play and plan of attack, right down to my bet spread and ramp has been to part of that battle that all card counters fight. And I have shared more of what I do that I ever should have. And I have been pretty damn successful at it.

And it turns out more than the battle with the casinos, casino personnel, database personnel, my biggest battles now are with advantage players on a furum that have joined with the complete trolls and haters in trying to out and harm me. WTF!!!

I am done with this shit. Axelwolf and a number of others are right. I should have been done a long time ago.

Redietz, buckle up. Without me to troll and bully, the haters and trolls will surely be intensifying their gang up on you.

The problem, as I see it, is nobody wanted to give me a poll. But you got your own poll. Now that you're gone, maybe I'll get my own poll. You know, Dietz lied about A, or Dietz doesn't know B, or Dietz has no real idea why +EV is not a term to be used un-historically regarding sports betting or Dietz never gave a paper at the National Conference on Gambling and Risk-Taking (sans Ph.D., even) or Dietz wasn't third-party monitored for decades or Dietz doesn't have the second best 20-year plus record in The Wise Guys Contest or Dietz wasn't the only handicapper in the history of the McCusker Report to tally three top college football profit rankings in five years or....

See, lots of poll statements are possible. Thanks for stepping aside, kewlJ. Much appreciated. You know, we have one other thing in common. You were approached about doing a book deal, and after "Scientists, Gamblers, and Magicians" was published in The Humanist, I was approached by the Allen and Yarnow Literary Agency about doing a book. I was too young and stupid to go with the flow, however. Such is life. Glad part of my origin story made it into "Driving Southern" many years later.

Finally, my own poll while I intricately evade PFA. LOL.

Oh, one other note. We were discussing Honk Kong racing in another thread. I was surprised to learn that my blog, with no new entries for the last three months, garnered about 2400 views last month. With nothing new. Very surprising. But get this -- the majority were from Hong Kong. Synchronicity or what? They must love their gambling in Hong Kong.
How big of a cookie would it take for you to STFU?
It is official. Redietz will never be on Dan Druff's podcast. "too much integrity"

    That doesn't make much sense.

So I wasn't taking any position even though I knew you were wrong. It is not my thing to get into these internet arguments. But I took part in creation of these rules so I know the intent. And the above makes it pretty clear, at least to me.

When I was a professional gambler a report was filed every day on me, even though I didn't carry any cash. It was all done by marker or otherwise. I was made aware of it by a friendly casino exec---but I hadn't ever thought that it wasn't being reported.

and tried to claim that this meant that CTRs could be issued even where no cash was involved. If he had any sort of tax or accounting background, let alone his claim that he "took part in creation of these rules," he would know that the rules mean that if those "not limited to" examples (such as chips, tokens, and plaques, front money deposits etc.) involve cash-in transactions, then a CTR might be issued if the cash in (or cash out) exceeded $10,000. over a 24 hour period.

But he was trying to argue that no cash in or cash out could be involved and simply because those "not limited to" examples themselves exceeded the $10K / 24 hour limit, that a CTR would be issued.

What he didn't understand, and again for a purported tax expert who claims that he "took part in creation of these rules" this is shocking, was that the phrase "Transactions in currency involving cash-in" refers to the involvement of cash IN obtaining or cashing out the stated examples, not that this means that the pure transactions in those stated examples was enough to trigger the need for a CTR.

He was trying to argue, basically, that a person might get chips, casino checks, bank checks, bank wires, etc. without putting in or taking out cash against those instruments and still get a CTR, which is nonsense.

This sort of, well, to be polite let's just call it, lack of understanding of the regulation, contradicts any sort of claim to be any sort of expert in this sort of thing, let alone someone who claims that he "took part in creation of these rules."

Look, if I came in here and claimed to be a credit line only player, who cashed out only in checks or bank wires, and claimed that a CTR was ever filed on me, let alone daily, that would tend to indicate that I was a flat out liar and didn't even play at all, or at a minimum, that I didn't know what I was talking about.

The poor pansy lives a tormented life--all through his own fault. Yes he will be back, specifically for the reason you stated. Since he keeps returning over and over again whenever he comes up with another of his poorly thought out fabrications that are painstakingly meant to try and convince others of his lies, as soon as he concocts yet another pile of BS, he will appear once again as if nothing had happened. In fact, his perpetual M.O. is to start with some sort of humble "I'm an everyday kind of normal guy" baloney, then hours later he'll come up with his usual relevance & legitimacy-seeking stomach churning essays.

    Prepare the popcorn.....

regnis didn't claim to be some kind of tax expert. Garnabby claimed that regnis claimed he was a tax expert. Now, regnis may be a tax lawyer, I don't know. But I ain't taking garnabby's word for jackshit.

You've done everything you can to draw attention to your story and that has been your most ridiculous contradiction from the beginning kewl! What moron keeps going on the internet talking about something, when it could cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars?? It's absurd.

And FWIW - I couldn't care less that you're gay (and possibly a prostitute), you're a victim of your lies, not homophobia.

Where did I say that Regnis said anything?

Going by a few of his posts, I took it that he had something definitive to do with accounting/tax, as when he gave MrV some "starchy" tax advice.

But, I went on to take Regnis' craps, etc., stuff, as only in the supposed sense, going by a few more of his other posts, and, that people tend to talk big, on the internet.

, referring to the regulation behind CTRs, but didn't understand how CTRs work - didn't understand that no matter what sort of instrument is involved, unless cash/currency in or out (in excess of 10K / 24 hours) is involved, there can be no CTR.

He was trying to argue that a CTR could be issued even where no cash in or out was involved anywhere in the transaction.

That's just plain wrong. He was also claiming that during periods when he was an entirely non cash player no cash in no cash out that he was getting daily CTRs written against.

    Again, just plain wrong.

It would be like if I claimed to be the person who invented baccarat but didn't understand its rules.

The thing that I don't get is that with a wife half his age, and, no kids, is what "family matters" there could be. Ha.

I'm sure that Mickey will come along to call me a liar, but, that's how I remember Regnis.

    Really, you've no idea?

Here's a couple possibilities to explain why he prioritizes family over this forum...

    1) A parent or sibling is in such a state of medical / cognitive decline that regnis must now care for them: major readjustment in one's life;

    2) His family member is in deep trouble, be it with drugs or otherwise, and he's involved in trying to solve the situation; or

    3) His marriage is in trouble and he needs to drop everything to try and save it.

There are other possibilities...shall I continue?

I've dealt with a lot of extended visits in hospitals, and, with a few (of my many deceased) relatives in nursing homes, but, then, with a lot more time on my hands to find other things to do while those persons fell asleep, the nursing shifts changed (takes about an hour), and, etc.

I don't consider a wife half one's age to be a familial, but, an anomaly awaiting an unpredictable, but brief, disaster.

Anyway, what chance that someone with decades of racing charts in the basement, who gave it up because too old, and, a wife half his age, still has parents?

Garnabby, I was just goofin' with ya.
