But theoretically, even if she and her Husband or Significant Other were still together, YOU could still be held accountable since it's YOUR child. Wait a minute. In your situation, is the Woman STILL pregnant or has she already given birth to the child? There's a huge difference between someone who's STILL pregnant and someone who's already given birth. If she's STILL pregnant, you could just be a deadbeat Father and run to another State or something like that, somewhere that she has no idea where you are and live your life without paying for the unborn child, you could be in big trouble if she's already given birth and can prove that YOU are her child's Father.
