    Ah, another nice one from the eVil. Ha. If remove one t, three r's, three u's, and one e, then trrruuue ---> true, as in true Halloween style, by 13_31.

    Wow! 372nd post ---> 372 = (1 + 371) ---> 1/371, with (1^3 + 3^3 + 7^3) = 371. And a time of 3:37 ---> 337 ---> 37. Spot #21 = 3*7 ---> 37.

    Oh, wow, just, noticed a few more things with the post above.

    Firstly, the image size is 13.7 KB ---> 137, the year is 1970 = (1000 + 30^2 + 70) ---> 137, and, that "Last edited by Gottlob1; 10-22-2023 at 03:43 PM" ---> 343 = 7*7*7 ---> 777.

    Secondly, if go by the opening line, as parsed out in the three different ways, then

    which amount to the numeral 1044 ---> 144 = 2*72 ---> 27_72, to go along with the 137's = [100 + √(900) + (6 + 1)] ---> 1961.

    What Does WoMan Want?

    This is Dr Leary's only novel designed to provide a psychedelic television experience to the reader. There are four ongoing soap-opera mini-dramas. These are interwoven with commercials, special parody announcements, and mini-documentaries. The viewer is encouraged to flip from channel to channel (chapter to chapter). The central plot is the Quixotic saga of an evolutionary agent, Dylan, a confused but sincere minstrel. He has been assigned to a primitive planet in the latter years of the Roaring 20th Century to perform those small but precise jiggles needed to cause chaos in the old, outmoded gene-pools, thus allowing creative individuals to start exploring and settling the next habitats. Dylan's mission is none other than to rediscover what woman really wants. During his extraordinary life, Dr Leary was known as a world-renowned psychologist, a student at West point, a defrocked Harvard professor, a hero, a relentless champion of brain-change, a counterculture guru, a stand-up philosopher, a prisoner of the U.S. Federal Government, a developer of computer software, friend to such notables as Aldous Huxley, William S Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg, described as "the most dangerous man in America" by President Richard Nixon, and he was an inspiration for millions of freedom-loving and free-thinking people throughout the world.
    P.S. Happy Halloween, every one. Ha.

    Went to Gulfstream Park Casino, found a $20 voucher in my purse I had completely forgotten about, cashed in, went to Roulette and played up and down. I decided to put like $5.25 on 24 , and it hit! I got $189 for the win. I played some Lottery tickets played more Slots and Roulette, bought some items for my home, decided to go pay a $53 Payment I have, and STILL have about $20 left! Much better than Friday when I lost four rounds of Funtastic Lotto!

    Take comfort in the fact that no one is actually backing up his wishes to have you permanantly banned.

    Luck happens.

    Alas, it's usually BAD luck.

    Revel in it while you can.

    Went to Hialeah Park Casino for free pull tabs Thursday. I saw a pull tab that I had a REALLY good feeling about. I chose it and it was $25 winner! Usually pull tabs are $10, so me getting more than double the usual is good. The free play netted me about $23 in cash. I played some more Slots, played Lottery, saved $5 for Funtastic Lotto tomorrow.

    Gottlob,

    Don't be so selfish with your time. Use your talent to help Tasha. With your skills you could easily determine the best roulette numbers for her to play.

    With some help from you she could make some decent money.

    Sure, I'm game. I'll stake her for $100 US, but, only if she loses it in one bet on even. She'll have to trust me to make good on it; like I'll have to trust her to lose it. Offer open until Christmas.

    trip report:

    Motored to Lincoln City yesterday, spent the night in in oceanfront room and left late this morning.

    Enjoyed how they decorated the staircase and surrounding area for Halloween.

    Spent the first part of the trip shooting the breeze and pool with my buddy who lives on the Salmon River; he's a Vietnam vet on 100% disability due to the war.

    Left his place, arrived at Chinook Winds, checked in and started to gamble: no joy.

    Returned to my room only to learn about the shooting in Lewiston: whoa: spent a lot of time watching the tube to follow it.

    Met my buddy at Foon Hing Yuen for Chinese food: excellent as always, but over dinner he told me he has arthritis now pretty much everywhere, the pain of arthritis and his other issues is worsening, and he's thinking of killing himself.

    Not a histrionic play for sympathy by the guy.

    So we calmly talked about that issue while each chomping merrily away on our generous servings of Three Dancing Stars.

    Back at the casino I had several sessions, the last at around 2:00 AM; all were losers except for a $1250 hand pay; I got lucky.

    I play high limit slots but don't usually play a long session as I typically limit my bankroll to $200 each session; when it's gone I leave, return to the room, chill, smoke a bowl / whatever and return later with another $200.

    The handpay came on an outlier bet of $50 on Red White and Blue: hit three double bars.

    I rarely bet that big but I seem to make up to four or so comparably sized bets every trip, and as sometimes happens I got lucky.

    After checking out went back to the casino, lost another $200 and munched on a curious breakfast food they concoct at their deli: scrambled egg, bacon, cheese on a hamburger bun, slathered in mayo.

    Stopped at Spirit Mtn. on the way home and played my nemesis there, Triple Diamond in their high limit room.

    Got a bit of luck and walked out of there a winner on a $300 hit on a $5 bet (single bar, Triple Diamond, single bar).

    Made $100 profit overall for the trip: no complaints at all.

    I played the local circuit of blackjack games, same as I did last Friday. Had a better outcome. This used to be how I played every day.
    Will be heading out in a few hours for some Friday night play at busier locations on the strip. I don't know why I am doing these double shifts on Fridays, when I have several days during the week that I do nothing. Going to have to remedy that.

    Nice report MrV. Hope things improve for your friend.

    You're right!!!!

    Wow I have been thinking it was Friday all day.

    Even better because I don't feel like going back out.

    If I had, I wonder if I would have notice strip crowds were lighter.

    How out-of-it does a pro gambler need to be not to know what day it is?

    I wonder if he got all his reduced-juice Friday picks in today.

  18. #38
    I don't live alone Garnabby, but the 2 people I live with both have the same schedule almost every weekday. My brother goes out playing blackjack and my BF goes to work at 6am. I guess I just woke up thinking it was Friday for some reason.

    No harm. No foul. Actually works out even better.

    Reduced juice us 9pm to 6am, so I hadn't even looked yet.

    Can you ever forgive me for being human and making a mistake (that doesn't effect you) coach belly.
