But still, these watch experts online you post a picture of a watch and within thirty minutes there are people coming along saying "fake" or "genuine" and posting their reasons. True, the pics need to be decent not fuzzy, but nowadays smart phones take very good close up pics actually.
I watched a few where they were saying it's almost impossible to tell unless you open it up and have one to compare it to. Even the inside is dangerously close. Regardless, there's little chance we could tell from some photos. That storefront in Turkey has all kinds of fake designer clothing, wallets etc.
Given your style, the movies you seem to like, and the personality of flash, there's a chance JK's racist slurs might hint at where you and you're family are from and what kind of business you might be in.

Don't get me started on fake chips.
lmao. Fuck that was Mdawg's cousin in Turkey being interviewed in that video?
The fake gold paper clips are in the back.

That dude is probably making a mint and needs someone here in Vegas to impress the marks with rooms, watches, and fake shit.

Mdawgy knows Mike wouldn't dare call out or really investigate if something like a, shirt, watch, money clip, or chip was legitimate or not.

I am genuinely curious as to what you have to say on counterfeit chips .

I love the documentary of the 2 dudes that turned the $1 chips into $100's and did it for a good amount of time until that chick started to extort them, and she ended up turning them in anyway lol.

The reason you can't relate, Wolf, is because you've no vantage point for comparison. I mean I could insult you further, but why? Just stick to drinking the Cap'n and running low end scams at Ellis Island and leave the high end to MDawg.

And don't worry they kept access open for ya' even leading up to F1.

    Pearls before swine.

All those old school casino scams have fascinated me. When cable TV was a thing .. they'd air that sort of thing. The devices that tricked the coin-droppers. There was some genius dude involved on that one. Honestly I've been far too interested in gambling for too much of my life. There is something exciting about it even if gambling itself doesn't do that much for me.

Yes, me to! I'm fascinated by casino cheats and scams.

Hands down the best casino cheat move was the "Savannah", done by Richard Marcus. Even casino games protection expert Bill Zender says it is the best cheat move he has ever seen.

Some stainless steel Rolexes are faked, as are other stainless watches.

Precious metal watches are almost never faked, because the enormous cost of making the case and band with precious metal far outweighs what anyone would be willing to pay for a fake. You can't fake gold or platinum because of its density, and even a cursory examination reveals whether a given watch is made out of a precious metal.

Fakes don't fool the buyers. No one pays the same price for a fake as for the real thing. Fakes are sold for a trifle, and the person buying it knows what he is getting. Anyone paying a large amount of money for a pre-owned watch gets it authenticated, and many of the selling outfits on the internet including ebay won't even allow a watch to be transferred from buyer to seller until it goes through an authentication process.

The only stainless watches I've ever posted pics of are of a few extremely rare vintage collectibles that are - as far as I know, never faked - and are worth far more than most precious metal watches.
Gold plating looks exactly like.. gold. I may or may not research this but I don't buy this argument for one second. I am not even arguing that your watches aren't real but I seriously doubt good fakes are that noticeably different. Gold plating costs nothing. I assume you can gold plate the various parts of a watch but it'd wear off on the wrist. Regardless it is real gold. The weight and density don't matter on your wrist or in a photo.
Gold plating does not look anything like solid gold. Anyone who knows may tell the difference even from a distance, just like anyone who knows may tell the difference between platinum and 18K white gold even from a distance.

The point is, this sort of thing is meaningful only within one's peer group. So the fact that the Wolf can't relate just affirms that he needs to get back to swilling the Cap'n and investigating Silver Sevens for his next scam, now that he's burned down Ellis Island.

I just drove 90 min listening to druffs account of his VP hit waiting for him to say how much he tipped. 90 minutes to find out it was $400. Should have been zero

If you like that stuff, I have an old Griffin Book. It shares the details of multiple scams, cheating devices AP moves, etc.
Mine listed phone numbers and addresses of people like Tommy Highland and his associates.

You're welcome to borrow it(My page has been removed to protect the innocent)

There was one story in there where some guy had the perfect casino wire transfer scheme where somehow he was able to collect the funds that were never actually wired.
at multiple(any?) casinos. It went on to say that the scam was so good that he probably wouldn't have gotten caught if not for one thing.....

Telling his GF, and at some point getting into a bitter breakup fight and her narking him out.

True story, the number one rule for having Griffin services is... Don't talk about Griffin services. Unfortunately, I removed that front page of the rules to preserve it but ended up misplacing it during a move.

How much solid gold or solid platinum have you experienced in your life? I'd venture to say, very little if you can't tell the difference between plated and solid visually on a watch. We're not talking about a chain. Over that much surface area, that many intricacies in the bezel, case, lugs, band, clasp, the plating won't look the same at all.

You're also talking about the difference between an iconic extremely well know design on a watch, where every aspect is second nature to someone who knows the watch. For example, the Rolex Day Date, which is available in only solid gold or platinum. Show me a fake one of those that doesn't look like garbage.

You really have to be a loser poseur to try to wear a fake gold watch. (I imagine the fake Rolex AxelWolf has in a drawer is a fake gold one. )

AccountInQuestion, the respect you've earned is in not being UNKewlJ like in talking about shit you know nothing about. Don't lose that solid rep.

How funny, I was just listening to it, his Co-Host Brandon constantly interrupted with his wack theories on why the casino staff should get tipped.

My gold collection is measured in lbs. I've actually been wanting to buy a larger bar of it as the heft is fun. The thing is as an investment if you ever want to offload osmething like that. ugh. And I couldn't buy it with cash.

Anyway, it might be that the process of the gold plating removes details if the plating is very thick. It is also not that easy to get it uniform. However ... a standard gold plated bar is not going to look any different from a distance. Now if you have the full thing up close you might be able to figure out where the electrodes or whatever were applied .. and the plating could only flatten out the finer details. Those watches don't seem to have all that many intricacies though but whatever.

I could go back and point out how you just a minute ago said anyone "who knows" can tell at a distance. That is clearly wrong so now you're like.. the plating looks fucked up on the finer details. lol. cough cough. okey dokey smokey.

Gold bars? C'mon now you're sounding even more out there if you're trying to compare a highly polished uncirculated bar to a gold plated bar, versus a solid gold versus plated watch. Just someday if you do ever end up owning a solid precious metal watch like a 18K or platinum Rolex Day Date, and then someday see its fake counterpart, you will laugh at how dissimilar they look. It's perhaps only because you don't know what the real precious metal one should look like that you think the fake plated watch would look the same.

And consider too that my precious metal watches have been worn, some of them for years, so they would look ridiculous by now if they were plated.

Actually, in the video I made of some of my watches (AxelWolf has seen it), first I weighed one of these Eagles after using a special tester

to show that it is reference solid gold, and as a reference to show that the digital scale was accurate because the weight for the Eagle came up correctly as expected , and then one by one weighed some of my watches. All watches were of the appropriate weight to indicate solid precious metal, all 18K gold or 950 platinum.
