Zen. I just thought of something. I remember one time you said "nobody has ever gotten convicted for not paying personal income tax, it's always the business income tax evasion that sees the courts" or some such bs. Dude, you do understand that you are very much legally running a "business" with your slot machine camping, right? What you are doing is akin to selling flowers on the street corner for cash, making a profit, and saying there will be no ramifications for no tax being payed on the business' profit. There is nothing "personal" about this. It's very much a business.
The king is probably going to end up like this Las Vegas goat.

Ignorance is bliss, and this tax evader is a contented cow.
Let him chew his cud until the Day of Reckoning.
Note: tax EVASION is a federal crime.
Just look at what happened to Al Capone; will zendouche also die of syphilis while in prison?
Time will tell...

What, Me Worry?
If a person doesn't pay taxes, it is tax fraud and a crime. If you think you can get away with it because you are gambling for a living (advantage player) and have no or little income reported, I would ask this: If you think you can get away with robbing a bank...would you? If you think you can get away with murder...would you? I almost fear what some of you will answer.
A professional gambler or advantage player, making a living should be able to pay taxes, just as they should be able to pay rent, and buy health insurance. If you can't or won't pay your taxes, or live with your parents, or friends, or in your car, and don't have health insurance or fraudulently have some state medicaid health insurance because you don't claim what you make....then you are not really making a living at gambling/advantage play.
Which bring me to an odd but kind of funny thread at WoV about card counters sleeping in their cars (presumably during gambling trips and not every night). A lot of card counters have similar stories of starting out very underfunded, and playing low limit on a shoe string bankroll. I didn't even have a car when I started. If I did, I probably would have slept in it during overnight trips to Atlantic City. Because I didn't have a car, I took naps at night in the casino bus waiting room.
Players starting out, playing underfunded and on a shoe string bankroll, usually aren't playing high enough stakes to earn free room comps. Most places don't give much for blackjack play even at higher limits. Even if you can find a cheap motel for $39 bucks (Atlantic City had them back when I played), if you are playing red chip, making $5-$7 and hour, that can eat up a days EV, when you are trying to grow your bankroll.
But anybody playing to a bankroll of even low 5 figures, should not be sleeping in their car. That is goofy. And I have known some card counters, that are past that very early, very low limit stage that do it. They are playing green to black, making EV of $50, $75, $100 an hour and then sleep in their car in the casino parking lot or other nearby parking lot. An RV like KC pulled off for his documentary is one thing. Sleeping in your car just is not an AP move in my book.
And yes, I know the troll patrol will inject some sort of KJ homeless, living in the tunnel troll comment here.
Dan Druff: "there's no question that MDawg has been an obnoxious braggart, and has rubbed a ton of people the wrong way. There's something missing from his stories. Either they're fabricated, grossly exaggerated, or largely incomplete".
How nice it is to have another hearing over with. Maybe, a few more ongoing matters for another year or two, and, then, it's piss off, for me.
So, I have a chance now to finish up with my (inherent) prediction for MrV's 5,555th post.
Firstly, the prediction.
And, next, MrV's 5,555th post.
Indeed, the fair weather of bliss, but, the unfortunate series of events that follow from the ignorance. Ha.

5,555 -----> 5555 = 11 * 5 *101 ---> 115_511, from spot #155 = 155*1.
Oh, and what might 1134*188 = 30456*7 ---> 34567 mean? Darn, that's a hard one, but, I guess you have to let the zero in it, as 304567 = 151 * 2017 ---> 115 or 511, and 2/7, for 2 July.
(1134 / 188) is about 6.032 = ( 0.001 + 6 +0 √(.0009) + 0.001) ---> 1961.

Hey Garnabby, what is this hearing about, what sort of "good works" are you up to, anyway?
What, Me Worry?
Interesting... because someone told me not too long ago that I don't have to pay federal taxes because it's 'voluntary'. Already knowing this couldn't be further from the truth, I did some research to see how anyone could get this idea. Apparently the manner in which you are able to calculate and pay your own taxes (instead of the gov doing it for you) is the voluntary part. But obviously if you get audited and the IRS determines you've underpaid, it is mandatory to pay whatever additional tax is deemed owed. So doesn't seem like there's anything 'voluntary' about it... appears to be just a poor choice of words in the tax code.
