There was a bill introduced in Congress a couple years ago that would have eliminated resort fees, under the premise of misleading advertising. The resort fees were an ill thought out,"Follow the leader," thing. Resort fees didn't use to exist, but suddenly, ONE Casino/Hotel added it, and then a bunch of Casino/Hotels jumped on the bandwagon and started charging resort fees too. Customers did NOT like the resort fees and started going to other properties that didn't have resort fees. Charging people extra for a chance to lose their money is a horrible idea. It's not like the GOOD idea of ONLY giving "free," drinks to people who are playing. The "Free," drink cost the Casino $5 and people play hundreds of dollars to get that "Free drink," . The Player thinks he's getting a free drink and the Casino gets say $2,000 from that Player when they spent $5 for that drink.. Forcing people say $20 for a chance to lose their money is a bad business model. Customers will go to the resort where they can lose their money for free, not have to pay an extra $20 for a chance to lose their money. Customers vote with their money. Casinos need to keep that in mind.

Tasha this does happen to a lot of people when dealing with player clubs. In this case it may be rooted in either a misunderstanding or misinformation or miscommunication. The clubs can make changes at time of renewals you don't like or later you it stops being worth even participating there. Same as any woman unpredictable.
