My problem is trying to impress people on Websites that I don't even know in real life. I had this same problem on WOV when I was an Active WOV Member. I remember some guy saying something like,"I lost way more money than I wanted to. I(Nathan/Tasha, was being treated like a joke on WOV, so I thought,"Here's my chance to come off as serious, mature, and insightful, and I responded to the guy something like,"You really should stop gambling. You already lost a lot of money that you needed. If you keep gambling, you'll end up being a homeless bum begging people on the streets for money!" Wow,I was completely out of line with that and I had the audacity to think that was going to earn me brownie points and kudos! The guy responded something like,"I didn't NEED the money I lost and I don't appreciate WOV Posters speaking to my like I am a gambling degenerate! Beachbumbabs said something like "Most Posters don't think you are a gambling degenerate. Only ONE person spoke to you like you were a gambling degenerate and Nathan shouldn't have said that to you. I apologize for Nathan's insensitive remarks to you."

I came across as a condescending Jerk, not serious, mature, and insightful and did not get the brownie points and kudos I was so desperate for. I REALLY didn't deserve brownie points and kudos since I didn't REALLY care about the guy losing his money, all I cared about was the brownie points and kudos I thought I would be getting, and didn't care about helping the guy out.
