Here are some pics from the windows of two different hotel rooms.

I'll post some indoor pics later.

These are the top 5 floors, all suites. Not sure if done yet. I wasn't allowed up there.

Cool pics. I see a comprehensive video poker report was put up on vpfree. Their offering appears pretty decent for a strip property.

Did you gamble there at all?

Did you notice whether this new casino has any of the Old School, three reel slots like Double Diamond in the high limit room or on the main floor?

The way things seem to be going I doubt they do, but as they say "Hope springs eternal."

Gambling will addict some of the people, some of the time, but, deludes all of the people, all of the time.
---> O, tell me the, tell me the list of "doped up" people out of left field who claimed to be a gambling messiah.

Hope is an essential and fundamental element of Christian life, so essential indeed, that, like faith and love, it can itself designate the essence of Christianity.

Typical of this forum: an administrator sleazes into a high-end property, snaps a few pictures that's suppose to impress the minions who'll never be able to properly experience the place, spend no money at any of the venues, then disappear.

We STAYED there in a 20th story room last night on our way back from Idaho. We took our nephew and his wife to Papi Steak for a wonderfully very late night dinner. Most LV joints ain't open as late as this place is.

Bottom line: the entire property is over-the-top--and purposely so. The standard rooms aren't any nicer than those offered at any of the other high-end properties on the Strip (as if any of you but mdawg would know the difference) and the meals at Papi are priced even higher than the ones at their Miami Beach location--which are already kind of ridiculous. (Yes, we've been to and stayed at that one too...).

I wouldn't say their vp is anything to write home about. I didn't play anything and <100% games don't particularly blow my skirt up, especially with nothing worthwhile in the form of promotions. I also wasn't impressed with the lack of machines at so many of their bars.

Let's be honest: this place might be a novelty at best for the little people around here. I mean, how many of you are ever gonna lay out a twenty for a bloody Mary or gin and tonic? And why do you think Todd didn't stay there or report on any of his restaurant experiences?

Maybe redietz can set up an interview at their sports book.

Ooooohhhh...the envy is just DRIPPING all over my keyboard.

Wow...you can actually afford to stay there?

You MUST have won that $1.5M jackpot if you can afford to pay $192.00 per night, plus fees.

Gee Robert, you're so grand, so superior to the rest of us...why not throw your hat in the ring?

Dan Druff was trying to impress people? Where? In what universe?

Only a very insecure, narcistic person like Rob Singer or our other resident extreme narcissist would think that and feel threatened. These two are people that posts pictures of cash and chips, trying to impress people, for God sakes. In Rob's case fake cash.

Druff runs 2 internet forum mildly on the topic of gambling and simply posted a few pictures and thoughts from a visit to a new and long-awaited casino resort in Vegas.

Rob if you have decent social security income and little to no housing costs (because you mooch off your daughter) that provides you disposable income to go on gambling trips and lose your money.... good for you. I doubt anyone is impressed. Over the years you have demonstrated zero, absolutely zero knowledge of any kind of advantage play, except a play, the double up bug that you stole from the news. Speaking only for myself, that is the only thing I really find impressive about gambling....someone that can win (longterm) applying math. You have never, ever done that nor shown that. You have demonstrated nothing except that you are a losing degenerate type gambler.

So stop trying to tell everyone you are better than everyone....it is just bullshit, like everything else you have ever said.

I visited the F-bleu last week. I wasn't going to say anything, but I wasn't that impressed. Sure it is glitzy and luxurious. Probably the most I have seen in those areas. But that just doesn't impress me at all. Nor does high end, over priced restaurants and food.

Of the 2 Vegas casinos that opened last month, I am more excited about Durango. That is a place I will make some money from. And that is really what I care about in a casino.

As far as food, there is a thread at WoV discussing Waffle House, which I have never been to. I think I am more excited about finding a Waffle House and trying it that anything else I have read in the last week. But that is just me.

I also don't need, nor will post about french fries being fried in duck fat. That is right up there when he posted about his toothpaste containing charcoal and then posted pictures of the spit in the sink.

The only sinks in which HomelessJ tries to clean up these days are in service stations or abandoned buildings.

He wouldn't make it in Hawaii, especially not on Oahu, where public restrooms are kept to a minimum because of the UNKewl homeless problem.
I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.

Your envy is funny and right on queue, kew

If you think we can live on $11,000/month....you truly are one of the little people.....
And oh yes!---I AM better than most here.

Durango--are you kidding?? You sure do love those nickel vp machines, don't you....loser

Rob, I am quite sure your and the Mrs, social security isn't 11k a month. You would have had to have been making big money to get that amount and the last 15 years of your earning life, you spent more time at the casinos trying to be an advantage player (your own admission) than working. And I haven't looked into what you earned, but I certainly don't believe your James Bond-Jason Bourne government tales because that just doesn't match with your known financial history of bankruptcies and evictions. Just doesn't jive!

This is just another Rob Singer tall tale, like that you owned and drove a Newell when in reality, you owned and a pull behind travel trailer type camper. (nothing wrong with that).

Nor do I care about your living arrangement. If all parties are happy with you mooching off your kids, that is all that matters. But just stop feeding us this Rob Singer bullshit. You are a guy who worked, may have decent social security income, lives off his daughter and lives to gamble and lose....something you have done at least half your life. And everyone knows it.

I doubt you have even been to Durango. I didn't look closely at video poker, because I don't play much video poker anymore, but I doubt they have much 5 cent denomination. I will take a look at some point. While the casino in general feels like a slightly smaller Red Rock, what they do have is a large table game area with many tables including many blackjack tables. The table game area reminded me of South Point, which also has multiple pits and table games for a mid size casino.

KJ, I would guess that 11K includes 401K money.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

I comprehend this as Singer saying that he requires much more than $11k per month to maintain his lifestyle.

Inflation is REAL. Especially when you can't have an occasional hotel stay and hit desert campgrounds in a MInnie Winnie tow behind camper for $11k a month......RIP

    Buy Gold
FraudJ's word is worth less than the prop cash in Singer's safe...RIP
