Thread: Las Vegas Caesars tier credit multiplier in late March 2024

    Cliffs:

    - 5x tier credit multiplier, up to 25k tiers. Not clear if they mean 25k total (5k of play + 20k bonus) or 31.25k (6,250 of play and 25k bonus)

    - Does not affect normal bonus tier earning -- that does not get multiplied, nor does it get negated

    - You have 7 days to do this -- from 6am March 25 to 5:59am April 1

    - You have to opt in through a kiosk before earning the bonus!

    - Las Vegas market only, apparently all games are covered

Optimal way to earn Diamond: Earn 2500 tier credits in one day, you will receive a regular bonus of 5000, and a mutiplier bonus of 10,000, bringing you to 17,250. This will give you Diamond until 1/31/26.

Optimal way to earn Diamond Plus: Do the above (2500 tier credits in one day, to earn 17,250 total), then stop playing. The next day (after 6am), play 1350 tier credits. This will earn you 1000 regular bonus, and 5400 bonus, for a total of 7750, giving you exactly 25k tier credits total, and Diamond Plus until 1/31/26. So basically you're putting in 3850 base tiers of play ($38,500 coin-in at video poker, or $19,750 at slots) to earn 25k tiers.

Optimal way to earn 35k tier credits: Earn 5000 tier credits in one day. You will receive a regular bonus of 10,000, a multiplier bonus of 20,000, bringing you to a total of 35,000, and Diamond Plus until 1/31/26.

Note that becoming Diamond or Diamond Plus will not necessarily increase your offers, freeplay, or comps, but rather will just give you the guaranteed benefits, such as line skipping and free resort fees.

What is the best video poker to play at Vegas Caesars properties? The sad truth is that it's all pretty bad.

The best way to get there is to play $5/credt ($25 per hand) 9/6 Jacks or Better at Caesars Palace high limit section. The crappy thing is that they only give you a 1 tier per $25, so you'll be putting in 2.5x as much coin-in, but it's still best off.

That would be an average loss of $442 earning 3850 base tiers (Diamond plus), and a $287 loss earning 2500 base tiers (Diamond). However, note that this includes royal flushes in the calculation, which you probably won't hit (and if you do, you'll almost surely walk away ahead!) Since royals account for about 2% of the overall payback, your non-royal average loss would be $1212 earning Diamond Plus, and $787 earning Diamond. And a lot of variance.

Interesting. I didn't know the Reno properties were part of that same late March promotion. That's where people should go, if possible.

El Dorado and Silver Legacy have full pay games like "Not So Ugly Deuces" 99.73% and 9-6 Jacks or Better 99.54%, and supposedly everything is still $10/tier.

This was true until around April 2023. Since then, it's been a mix of $10 and 20 at the Row. It's mentioned in the comments at vpfree2.

The good games are mostly $20 per point, but they have a lot of full pay so it could be possible to find some 10s.

Keep your expectations low for mail offers. They cut me to zero, and I hear grumbling from other players at the full pay games. Vegas probably has superior invitational promos such as the play offers where you can earn gifts or free play rewards.

I assumed that the Reno properties would have shit offers for anyone who stuck to full pay VP, or perhaps no offers at all.

I'm just surprised they haven't completely degraded them yet like they've done to Veags. In fact, when Harrah's Reno was a thing, the VP there was not that good, as I'm sure you noticed.

I never paid much attention to Harrah's Reno. As I recall, the casino was claustrophobic and always smoky. The hotel rooms were claustrophobic and only sometimes smoky. They usually had some full pay JOB, but in the last years I think the good games were something like $25 per point.

The Row was all-around better. Until about 2016, the three casinos all had good games and operated separately. Eldorado took control, consolidating the property under one players club. Then in 2020, Eldorado acquired Caesars and closed Harrah's while converting the Row to the Caesars players club.

Eldorado's Carano family controls the new company, so I'm not sure the current management has the same aversion to full pay VP as the earlier Caesars executives. I don't follow that stuff carefully.

It's possible the good games exist thanks to inertia. Eldorado casino has a lot of old machines, which are mostly full pay. Whenever anything is replaced, it tends to be either shorter pay or a slot. Silver Legacy has had a lot of inventory turnover, leaving few playable options. Circus has been worthless for several years now.

Must play 800 tier credits at some Caesars properties to qualify for bounce back FP. Unless you have a huge cock and show it to the right person
